I completely agree there needs to be something besides the new wecrash. My opinion is there is the potential for problems here for a few reasons. First the new wecrash User Agreement is a copy of the user agreement here which states at any time proboards can change their site to a pay service without notice. The other issue is at any time even without cause proboards at their discretion can shut this down. This was the whole reason for the want to get wecrash off of a forum hosting site. If you remember the suddenlaunch site that went down there was no recourse or anything any one could do about it. There is no guarantee of service. I appreciate the effort that was put into this but feel there are better approaches. One such solution is a forum I host at forum.hhhracing.com. It is hosted with a web service provider that backs up the data, has a guarantee of service, and is completely free to the users, vendors, promoters, etc. We are growing every day. It is based off of phpBB forum software so it follows very similar to here. Again I am not against anything that is being done here as I feel like everyone here does. The new wecrash appears to be for paying customers only. My opinion is there needs to be another option I am just not sure another hosted solution is the best approach. |

I know where you are coming from,but i have been to every new site and even the older run offs. None of them will ever be wecrash. I been to hhh but the hhhracing doen't make it stand out to a derby site. It a hard choice to make when ever you leave a site that you are drawn to for many years to just be sold to the wrong guy.

We will be hosting a contest when we reach 300 members to rename the site. The only stipulation is it can't be we anything or anything dda. We want to distance ourselves as far as possible from the sinking ship known as wecrash.

im signed up now! I really like this site alot better than the new wecrash.... LMK if you need a hand... mod, rep etc...
all differences aside this is an awesome move in my book!

The name is really gay, first of all. Second, what makes you think this secondary siye will be any better than any other of them! I have an idea....lets all make our own board. Thats the perfect way to kill the sport. Casey Jones is special because he thought of a gay name and started the same gay style proboard. Anyone can do that, but the smart people dont, cuz they know it wont work. The only reason you are getting members, is because you are spamming everyones pm's on the real wecrash. Good Job. Hey stan thanks for the input. I'm sorry you find the sites name to be homosexual in nature and I was honestly unaware of anyone else doing this when I made it. I just wanted to save the old site the best way I knew how to and that was by cloning it. I'm not trying to upset anyone and as far as spamming wecrash PMs goes, i havent sighed on in days my name on there was 922yorker,so that must be people spreading the word i sent out a small group text to people i know when i launched this site and that is the only thing i have said about it. Actually Casey didn't pm me and tell me about we smash and I have people pm on wecrash telling me about this site. People I don't even know so maybe it is not Casey. Also, people on here probably actually demo and it's not Bia.

Now you can see why I was pushing my dedicated server forum. Proboards is having issues displaying icons and is very slow. There is no guarantee from them when it will be fixed if ever. If you want to go somewhere that is on a dedicated server that is not the new wecrash consider joining us over on forum.hhhracing.com. The forum will be renamed to a universal derby name by this weekend. |
