I'm using both, Wecrash because of the old tips threads. I am STILL supporting Wesmash. Theres a reason why I bought 5 wesmash decals off Engstrom.
NO DELETING ANY POSTS HERE!

just to let you know these are things I've said in other forms of communication to questions.....As you know, if you know me.......I'll tell you exactly what I'm thinking; whether you want to hear it or not....

I will be staying with derbythis.com primarily but I still visit wesmash and wecrash. I think only time will tell where things will end up. I don't think the move back to the proboards wecrash is going to save the sinking ship. I also don't think the full story is being told. My personal opinion is the sell off is hurting the bottom line of Derby Icons as well. I have never seen the forums so dead with talk about Spring Explosion and Metal Mayhem. My personal opinion is none of the vendors were too happy about the new wecrash. This makes it very difficult to ask for items for your shows when you sell them down the river. I think it is still a ploy by Sam and Wade bringing Tory back as he brings a huge following. My honest opinion is in some cases if he asked some people to jump off a cliff there may actually be some that tried. Wecrash was never purchased with the intent of improving anything for the drivers. It was purchased as a business investment. If you think about it Sam and Wade are getting exactly what they want. They can just put up a link to the forum on a landing page which also coincidentally inundates you with ads for their superstore. It was the name they wanted not the forum.

I am trying to make things happen as fast a s possible but you will have to be patient. I am currently forming a cooperative of people to control wecrash. This will be like a board of directors, to ensure the long term stability of wecrash. This will remove Wade and Sam from the ownership, which is the big question everyone is asking. I will still run the day to day operations, but bigger decisions will be made through the board of directors. But my days as the DICKtator of wecrash are over. This will not happen overnight but we will meet and finalize the plan at Spring Explosion. Who will be on the board? Vendors, Promoters, long-time Moderators and any member willing to join. More to come. Things are happening fast, I hope fast enough to appease the masses, but give me time to make it a reality. I agree with the statement that the sale was probably hurting Derby Icons bottom line, there was more action on the event threads here than there was on wecrash. The analogy that comes to my mind is: you buy a house, spend a lot of time and money fixing it, you sell it 15 years down the road. Drive by it in a couple years, and the people who bought it are hoarders with garbage bags all over the yard, broken windows, it's overgrown, and there is graffiti on the front door. For most people, that's upsetting. I think he feels the same way about this. I also understand the distrust, I feel the same way to an extent, but Tory has not screwed me yet. The domain name "wecrash" is owned by UD, but I don't think they own the "we-crash" domain name. |

Kinda the way I looked at it, the new owners seem to have no appreciation of the effort it took to make it what they bought and treat it and it's people with no respect. I would do the same if it were my creation.

If it wasnt for this site everyone would still be on the new crappy wecrash. I guess all the drama, BS and politics attracts people. Doesnt mean a lot in the big scheme of things but it shows the loss of dignity in people. |

No person on earth does something for nothing,be it praise,respect,power or money there is a motivation to everything. Sam and wade only profit if people buy,no need to scrap everything when we can put a clip in it. |

Anyone would be CRAZY to go back to wecrash.
Look at the facts!
The forum was sold. The owner SOLD OUT the members to make some cash.
The new owners SOLD OUT the members again, at the cost of the user experience.
The members responded, and basically 'boycotted' the new forum to show their distaste for it.
The new owners realized they had NOTHING without the members.
They then revert back to the old forum, just in hopes to mnake something back on their failed investment.
Screw them! We got this place now, theres absolutely NO REASON to go back there now, since this forum will serve us just as well. Theres nothing we can do there that we cant do here now.
I urge EVERYONE to STAY AWAY from that forum in order to put it out of its misery.

Ok let's recap, shall we? Tory soldout wecrash and the wecrash community. if I remember correctly he said it was to make it better and protect against future problems with the server. ( I should note: I have no problem with him making money from selling it, that's capitalism) what I don't like is being lied to, cmon? Make wecrash better. Let's be honest this was about money from day one..... when there was people that were skeptical of the ultimate derby/Tory/wecrash marriage, there posts would get deleted or if they were persistent they would just get banned.
Moving forward to wecrash.com, a horrible website that was an enormous failure, everyone can admit that...we were told get used to it! This is how it's going be! Or once you get used to it, you'll like it, or my personal favorite, "if you don't like it, than leave. Go find another site." (thank you we smash for giving us a place to go)
Last but not least. Scum and wade get caught trying to plagiarize xXx's engine cradle. They relaunch we-crash proboards to try and do damage control....that's all that is over there right now, damage control.
