Seems to be some confusion about this rule:
4. Cars running a DP may NOT have a window bar. 9 wire only
To clear up the confusion, if you have a Distributor Protector on your motor, you CAN NOT have a window bar. Don't care how or where it is ran, if you have a DP you will remove window bar.
Back 4 body mounts that can be changed must have 1 inch gap for inspection.

Plus id rather trust my face to a window bar than #9 wire any day if the hood comes through the window. Guess I dont understand the logic behind this rule!

Well guess iam out because The rules are not clear about either one says nothing about a space on back four body mounts And a window bar that hooks to the cage is not making the car any stronger !!

here we go.... no where did i see anything in the rules that said the back 4 had to have a spacer. I reread the originals i printed off of wecrash and didn't see it so i printed them from rouse website this morning and didn't see it either. as far as the 9 wire in window i agree a bar is safer and to the cage should be allowed. i would say there is another team that is meeting tonight to decide where we will run our cars now.

I read my original set of rules that I was given at the derby party and it doesnt say anything about spacers. Guess I'll have to change the rest of the body mounts on my finished Franklin car and take it somewhere else.

A window bar is that big of a deal??? I mean we all ran for years without a window bar and just wire... how many time did we get in a hurry, forget the wire in the window only to get told in the tech line we had to have something there? to the cage doesnt strengthen the car UNLESS you add something after inspection to fill the gap... to me this is a smart move on rouse's part... I have been hearing alot of rumors lately about this show and to be completely honest Im not sure how it will pan out... I might just have to stay loaded on the trailer until I see how things go.... now the body mount deal I kinda have an issue with that... if we can change the bolt then I dont see an issue with the space.. the trunk isnt welded so its gonna blow to pieces with a space.. this isnt gonna hurt a thing being bolted solid... if anything its gonna give us one or two extra shots with the back of the car... this is all my opinion so dont go getting your panties in a bunch.. I mean no disrespect to anyone by this post... franklin car.....

If the bar adds no strenght at all then why the complaints?
I did make the mistake on the body mount not putting in the spacer. So i will make it very simple, I have to be able to see the top side of the rails. Weather you have a spacer in there or not, I have to be able to see the top side. So if you have to tighten the bolts after inspection, that is fine, but we have to see the top side. Easy enough?

Awesome a promotor catches a mistake and owns up to it.

You can have the hood hinges and 6 spots to bolt your hood and your worried about the hood coming off and coming in the car and hitting you....not trying to be rude but if your that concerned about safety wrecking cars may be the wrong sport of choice
Where could you or can you bolt the body down solid in todays derby world other than a complete load fest in which they dont care to even look at the cars....just curious cuz it sounds like my kinda show 😍

So much for trying to keep the drama out of this show. While we are at jr, care to address the rumor about thr 11th team? Is it true they will replace guys that get loaded if the other team guys want?
