I will be headed from southern illinois to gulf shores alabama the end of this month. Does anyone know of any good salvage yards or anything along the way or near the gulf shores/pensacola area? I am mainly looking for 74-76 Chevy Bumpers, 74-78 chrysler bumpers, ss wheels, and astro van wheels. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and feel free to pm me if you dont want to share your honey hole with the whole world!

I don't blame you for trying but why would someone give up there yards?

i was hoping some fellow derby guys would be willing to help another one out, trust me im not rich or anything so im not going to clean the yards out, just trying to find a few while on vacation

I went to orange beach a few months ago. And I come home with 4 bumpers. But I stopped every yard I cud. Most were crushed out. Not saying u wont find anything. But it wasn't worth the but chewing I got every time I was turning around to go back to the yard we jus passed Good luck. If u cud change ur route. And destination. I wud suggest going thru texas. Took a motor to my cousin. And got 8 out of one yard.

YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE SAME THING WE ALL ARE, NOT TO BE AN butt (HARD TO BELEIEVE HUH?) BUT SPEND TIME ON GOOGLE, AND YOU WILL FIND ALL THE INFO YOU NEED . I WOULD NEVER TURN MY FAVORITE YARD LOCATIONS OVER TO ANYONE. BEEN BURNED ONCE BY A GUY WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO ONLY BE INTERESTED IN BUYING CHRYSLERS, YET HE TOOK 2 OF MINE THAT WERE PAID FOR AND EVERY OTHER GM IN THE YARD AS WELL... SUCKS TO BE LIED TO....
