Heres the deal guys..!
Im going with 5 man teams same rules as last year with a limit of 10 teams with a 8000.00 payback for top 10 finishers of the feature. 500.00 entry fee per team.
Also im going to have the 3 man mild weld team class and limit it to 12 teams of 3 drivers. and pay back 4000.00 to top 6 finishers in their feature. with a 300.00 per team entry fee per team.
The adult compact will be 3 man teams also. i will limit the compacts to 10 teams with a 100.00 entry and a 3000.00 payback to top 10 drivers ONE SHOT DEAL..
The Full size truck and van class will be 3 man teams also and i will limit it to 6 teams . payback will be 1800.00 and i will payback the top 6 finishers .100.00 entry.. ONE SHOT DEAL..
Mowers and youth will not be a team event ever so dont ask.
The entry for you guys will be 40.00 and 100% payback.

2012 MOWER RULES= APPLY TO ALL M.M.P EVENTS
Here's the rules.... ANY FACTORY BELT DRIVEN lawnmower allowed except for those rear engine types like Snappers. Decks must be removed. You may build a stack for the exhaust. You must weld bars on the side of the mower for leg protection. If your gas tank or battery is in front of the motor you must move it to a safe place. You may rig up a hand throttle to run the motor wide open. You must bolt or wire your hood down tight! You may weld or bolt onto your motor a spark-plug protector. You may weld on a front and rear bumper that is to be no taller than 15 inches and may only be as wide as the front tires. No excessively thick bumpers, use your good judgement guys. Nothing may protect the tires in any way. No frame reinforcement is allowed except for what is needed to mount the bumpers and cages. You may change pulleys for your desired gearing. Chains are allowed on your rear tires. You must hit with the front of the mower during the derby. You must make a hit every 60 seconds. No hitting the leg area of the mowers. Hits are to be made to fronts and tires of the other mowers. Helmets required. Rear Hits may be made using safe smart judgement.Must be at least 15 years of age. NO home-made mowers.....18 hp limit... NO WHEEL WEIGHTS ....

BUMPERS AND LEG PROTECTION BARS MUST NOT BE WIDER OR LOWER THAN YOUR TIRES ,AND NO SHARP OBJECTS ON THE BARS ! IF YOUR MOWER DONT MEET THIS RULE YOUR NOT RUNNING
2012 TRUCK RULES = SAME AT ALL M.M.P EVENTS
1. Any American made 2 or 4 wheel drive pick up truck, Blazers , surburbans, and full size van 1967 and newer.
2. No kickers anywhere for any reason. no loaded or home made bumpers.
3. You may run any engine regardless of make
4.Factory Fuel tanks must be removed Fuel Tanks must be located in the bed of the truck in the center of the bed directly behind cab. No stock fuel tanks permitted Fuel cells must be securely fastened and covered.
5. Battery may be moved to floor of the cab. battery must be securely fastened to floor and covered
6. All trucks must have working seat belts
7. Doors and tailgates must be secured by wire, chain, banding or welding
8. Windshield area must have 2 straps, rebar or #9 wire from roof to cowl panel to prevent hood from entering the cab.
9. Box and cab mounts may be replaced with up to 3/4 " bolts and 4x4 washers. body mounts may be removed
10. No trailer hitches or reinforcements of frame or body of any kind permitted. May use car bumpers. For mounting of car bumpers you may use factory car shocks and brackets or a 3" x 3" x 5" long box tube.
11. Hoods Must be in place and operable Must have a 12" hole cut in hood over carburetor
12 Hoods may be wired chained or banded shut. only 6 double strands of wire all permitted to go to frame
13 .NO 4 wheel drive trucks permitted unless you remove one of the driveshafts
14. Tires are to be stock sizes for trucks no split rims no restriction on tread pattern, doubled screwed glued, and valve stem protection allowed
15. Beds must be welded,chained or wired to cab of truck directly behind doors
16. 6 double strands of wire permitted on hood and 6 in bed of truck all permitted to go to the frame
17.Front suspension may have upper a-arms welded solid to obtain bumper height. . 8 lug rears are permitted on 1/2 ton trucks
Rear Suspension .. stock spring pack with 6 clamps per truck. 3" wide clamps max.
Bumpers .. minimum 20" to bottom and max is 30'' to bottom.
18. A 4 point cage is highly recommended in drivers compartment for drivers safety, bars are to be welded to body of truck .
Off the rear seat bar a roll cage can be built to protect the fuel tank in the bed. 24"long and 24" wide max . rollover bar is allowed . 2 bars can go from rollover bar to the gas tank protector .
2012 COMPACT RULES
All cars must remain stock unless otherwise noted. If it is not in the rules, it does not mean you can do it. So Don’t!
**CAR TYPE any car or station wagon that has a wheelbase of 109 and under with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine.
**Stripping:
All outside hardware such as glass, plastic, fiberglass and chrome molding, door handles, mirrors etc must be removed prior to arrival. No broken windows in doors. All flammable materials must be removed such as carpets, upholstery, headliners, and back seats. Cars must be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk area including spare tire, rims and parts. Insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. All items must be removed except for front seat and dash..
**Body:
Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 5 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 bolts and 1" washers max size
**SUSPENSION: factory stock factory leaf cars must have no more than 4 springs per side 2" stagger and 4 clamps per car.
**FRAME: factory stock, you can notch and pre bend

**Engine :
You may swap motors/transmissions
**Transmission:
Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount
**Rear End:
Any 5 bolt pattern accepted ~ spiders can be welded ~ .. Any drive shaft allowed.
-**Bumpers:
Any automotive bumper can be used. You must weld or bolt the bumper to the shock . bolts can be up to 1/2 dia in the factory location.,. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper. 2 strands per hole max.~ You may trim bumper ends~ maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper...
**Tires and Rims:
7.50-15 maximum size, doubled, glued, and screwed tires allowed. Valve stem guards allowed.. No studded tires on drive tires. . No restriction on tread pattern or tire ply ratings. REMOVE ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS BEFORE INSPECTION. **Exhaust System:
Headers can exit straight up through the hood. If exhaust system runs under the car, it must exit under the front doors.
**Steering Column: may be swapped, aftermarket steering shafts allowed
AIR BAGS MUST BE REMOVED
**Fuel: Gasoline only!
**Fuel Tank:
Original gas tanks Must be removed unless they are mounted in front of the rear axle. Tanks are to be mounted behind driver. They Must be mounted properly and all connections must be secured and leak proof. 5 gallons max. 5 holes must be in floor around fuel tank to prevent puddling of spilled fuel.. (If it moves 1/8 inch ~ it’s NOT considered secure) all fuel tanks must be covered with a non flammable material . Boat tank protectors are allowed but must be no larger than 24 '' wide and 18 '' tall driver safety is the main concern..
**Fuel Line:
Electric fuel pumps are acceptable. Must have shut off switch within drivers reach. Mounted on the rear roll cage bar. Must be 12 '' from the passenger side door with off position being down. Clearly marked for safety personal.
**Roll Cage:
One bar mandatory behind driver seat. 8x8x ¼ max plates welded on body for cage. No further back then 12 inches behind door post. DASH BARS AND DOOR BARS ARE OPTIONAL FOR DRIVER SAFETY ONLY. bars can be up to 4 '' max diameter. Roll over bar allowed!!
TANK PROTECTORS...24" WIDE and can be tight to the rear sheetmetal in back seat area. no down bars to body. 2 bars can go up to rollover bar off the backside of protector.
**Body Mounts. factory stock
**Doors: ALL doors may be welded solid by using 3'' wide max, ¼ thick strap on all door seams. . One ¼ plate not to exceed drivers door by 6 inches, may be welded on drivers door for safety!if not choosing to weld all other doors may be banded chained or wired in 10 spots on each door . bottoms each door can have 2 spots wrap around the frame . Any door that comes open during heat or feature will automatically be disqualified.
. NUMBERS MUST BE ON A ROOF SIGN . Signs need to be at least 20x20.
**Hoods:
Fiberglass hoods may be changed. Hoods can be bolted together at cut out. 10- 3/8 bolts max.. with 1 '' dia washers . No welding. HOOD CAN BE SECURED IN 6 SPOTS. By using 1 inch bolts and 4 '' washers max. if using wire you can weld washers on hood 8 spots ,4 strands per hole . Must have 14 '' hole in center if not using headers. HOODS MUST BE OPEN FOR INSPECTION
**TRUNKS .. now can be welded solid with 3" wide x 1/4 thick strapping.
12" inspection hole must be in the trunk if it cant be opend for inspection. 10 3/8 bolts 1" washers around cut out only.
*Radiator & Fans:
Any stock automotive allowed. Only in stock position. Secured by 9# wire, nylon straps, or bungee straps in 2 places only. Remember Water only! No coolant. Electric fans permitted.
**Battery: 1 battery of any size. Must be placed in a secure position in the front. passenger side floor board. Battery box is suggested, which must be securely fastened down. Battery Must be covered.
**STARTING METHOD : you may use toggle, push button or hot wiring method
**Brakes: Brakes MUST be functional.
**Windshield: Two bars or #9 wires must run from roof to cowl panel.

This class is for the kids AGES 11-16 W/0 DRIVERS LICENSE let them learn how to strip cars out, build a car to the rules and be a good sport when they win or lose.
Upon arrival a notarized parental consent form must be filled out or you will not be allowed to participate. One parent must be present with valid I.D. A notary will be present to notarize the entry forms. A PARENT OR ADULT MUST RIDE WITH THE DRIVER. this is for instructional purposes as well as a possible emergency situation
.
BUILDING** all cars must remain stock unless specified in these rules NO TUCKING/WEDGING
all cars must be factory front wheel drive 4 or 6 cylinder and wheelbase must not exceed 109"
strip interior100%! you must leave passenger seat in and dash , KEY START RECOMMENDED remove airbags!
WELDING** One bar behind seat IS MANDATORY. 12 x 12 inner door plates and No larger than 6" dia pipe. A roll over bar strongly advised.
DOORS/ TRUNK/TAILGATES** WELD outside only with 3"wide x 1/4 thick strapping. both outside front doors can be reinforced 6 inches past the door seams.
BUMPERS** Can be from any compact car, or 80 and newer car. they must be bolted on at the factory location,1/2 bolts 2" washers max size.
you can wire your bumpers to the trunk lid 2 places and the radiator support in 2 places with #9 wire.
THERE CAN BE 12 " OF WELD ON EACH BUMPER . THIS MEANS ON THE MOUNTING AREA YOU CAN HAVE A 3" LONG BEAD OF WELD IN 4 SELECTED LOCATIONS.
TIRES** No tractor treads and no studded tires on the front. You can glue, screw,double and stem protection is allowed. remove wheel weights.
WINDSHIELD** Must be removed. Must have 2 places of #9 wire, banding, strapping or chain in windshield area to protect driver/pass. Mount this from roof to the cowl panel. It must not be attached to the hood.
BATTERY** Must be mounted inside the car , all parts of battery must be covered with a non flammable material.
HOODS** Can be secured in 6 places. 2 strand #9 banding or chain.
Fuel Tanks***This is the most important rule to read. Any fuel system I feel that's unsafe will not pass.
Stock fuel tanks can be left in THE FACTORY LOCATION UNDER THE CAR if they are mounted in front of rear axle. I don't want to see a stock tank mounted in your back seat area. Tanks must be made of steel a 4 point hold down bolted to floor with a minimum of a 2" washer on the underside of car.All hoses must be double clamped at all connections. Electric fuel pumps must be operated by a switch that the passenger can shut off in case of a fire. I'll paint switch during inspection. Stock systems will simply use the key. remember BOTH seat belts
DRIVERS DO NOT FORGET YOUR ROOF SIGN!

Before you get to the derby.. all plastics,lights,trim moldings,wheel weights,foam bumpers, and door handles must be removed. Also the battery and gas tank must be secured. Come to inspection like your pulling onto the track to run your class. Failure to have your car prepared will result in a 20.00 fine. We cant have you come through inspection 5 times for minor stuff.
NO TUCKING OR WEDGING.. THIS MEANS YOU ENTRY FEE WILL BE FORFEITED IF YOUR CAR IS NOT LEGAL TO COMPETE.
MILD WELD 3 MAN TEAM RULES

Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 5 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 bolts and 1" washers max size
**SUSPENSION:
You may weld the front suspension using flat stock from lower a arm to frame , 3" on frame only one piece per side 3'' wide ¼ thick max size .or use spring spacers for getting bumper height ! … You may swap A- arms of your choice, automotive only allowed. Tie rods may be reinforced. REAR suspension, you can change rear coils ,1"all threadd for shocks reinforced trailing arms allowed.,
**FRAME:
. Frame must be 80 and newer. you can notch the rear frame , and pre bend if you desire. NO CUTTING THE FLAPS OR BOXES ON THE FORDS.. 26"x1/4 thick arch plate allowed
**Engine :
You may swap motors/transmissions. You may use engine of choice. Mounts at cradle can be welded in. excessive motor mounts that strengthen car will be removed!! engine oil coolers allowed . must be behind drivers seat. excessive mounting will not pass!! distributor protectors allowed
**Transmission:
Coolers are optional may be mounted behind seat. Must use transmission line for coolers. Gas line Will Not be allowed. Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount
**Rear End:
Any 5 or 8 bolt pattern accepted ~ spiders can be welded ~ You may lengthen upper control arm for desired pinion angle 2" OVERLAP. Lower control arms can be shortened.. Any drive shaft allowed. watts cars can weld 4x4squaree tubing on the frame for trailing arm mounting pockets.
-**Bumpers:
Any automotive bumper can be used. You CAN WELD or bolt the bumper to the shock . bolts can be up to 1/2 dia in the factory location.,. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper. 2 strands per hole max.~ You may trim bumper ends~ BUMPERS CAN BEHARD NOSEDD TO FRAME WITH 4 PASSES OF WELD.. 2 ON BUMPER AND 2 ON FRAME. maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper.. BUMPERS ARE EXPENSIVE SO YOU CAN REINFORCE THE FRONT BUMPERS. BUT THEY MUST APPEAR STOCK..
**Roll Cage:

You may change all body bolts in the body, max 1/2 size, 3'' washers ¼ thick. Rubbers must remain in place 2 EXTRA MOUNTS ALLOWED !! Bolts are not to travel through bottom of frame.
**Doors:
drivers doors MUST be welded solid by using 3'' wide max, ¼ thick strap on all DRIVERS door seams. . One ¼ plate not to exceed drivers door by 6 inches, may be welded on drivers door for safety!. all other doors may be banded chained or wired in 6 spots total .OR YOU CAN WELD A TOTAL OF 18 3X3 PLATES ON YOUR DOOR SEAMS the bottoms each door can have 2 spots of wire wrap around the frame . Any door that comes open during heat or feature will automatically be disqualified. . NUMBERS MUST BE ON A ROOF SIGN . Signs need to be at least 20x20.

5 MAN WELD IT.. TEAM RULES
**CAR TYPE** 1980 and newer 2 or 4 door car,hearse or station wagons is allowed. .78 AND NEWER GM MODELS

All items must be removed except for front seat.
**BODY**: Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 4 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 max bolt 1'' washers allowed. Patching rust!! You can patch rusted areas using same thickness as the area your patching. No overlapping of patches. You must prove your rust . Do not exceed the rusted area by more than 2''.
**WEDGING** THERE MUST BE 8 " OF SPACE BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE TRUNK LID.
**FRAME* Trailer hitches and brackets must be removed. You may notch the frame.. you can tilt the fords, weld frame seams from firewall fore ward NO painting or undercoating on frame. PRE RAN CARS!! You may put 4, 3in x 3in plates on cars that have frame damage. If a seam has came apart, you may weld up to 6in. of frame but counts as 1 of the 4 plates allowed
2003 AND NEWER FRAME RULE
On new style cars with the aluminum cradles you may switch these out with 80 and newer steel cradles they must be put in like there factory counterparts only using the factory brackets no other metal may be added. They must be in factory location and can not be moved forward. You may use a 3” spacer from the bottom of the frame to lower A-arm where the spring goes you may not alter frame in any manner other than attaching factory brackets with a single bead of weld. You can not make homemade spring pockets. All factory holes in front of A arms must be open. The 4 holes in front of a arms behind bumper must remain open
**SUSPENSION:
You may weld the front suspension using flat stock from lower a arm to frame , 3" on frame only one piece per side 3'' wide ¼ thick max size .or use spring spacers for getting bumper height ! … You may swap A- arms of your choice, automotive only allowed. Tie rods may be reinforced. rear springs may be swapped out to a 70's model coil spring. 1" ALL THREAD CAN BE USED FOR SHOCKS.or wire the springs in with 6 strands of#9 max. Chrysler spring pack must remain 100% factory , 4 spring clamps per car
**ENGINE**
Engines may be chained in with 2 chains standard 3/8” chain max. these chains may be no longer than 16” and no more than 3 chain links may be welded to the engine cradle. Chains must attach to engine. No chains permitted to frame
Motor of choice is permitted. Distributor protectors are allowed, Nothing that attaches to engine can be wider than the stacks I.E dist. Protector, engine cradles etc.
you may use one or the other not both. (A) kicker from dash bar to D.P. but can not be welded Or bolted to D.P. .OR (B) you can have 2 kickers from the front dash bar to the top side of frame behind A arms. 2X2 square tubing only no other material may be used they must be within 2“ of A arm if you choose this option front dash bar must be 5" behind firewall.
**TRANSMISSION** Coolers are optional may be mounted behind seat. Must use transmission line for coolers. Gas line Will Not be allowed. Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount,cross member mounts must be within 12" of factory location No transmission protectors or braces of any kind permitted A skid plate may be used from the oil pan to the transmission pan this may not attach to anything else and be no wider than 16“. No braces of any kind will be permitted behind distributor protector.
**REAR END**
Any 5 or 8 bolt rear end ~ spiders can be welded ~ You may lengthen upper control arm for desired pinion angle. Lower control arms can be shortened.. Any drive shaft allowed. you can reinforce the trailing arms.
**ARCH PLATES * 1/4 thick 4"wide 24 "long only 2 per car. it can be welded solid , welded to the outside rear frame rails only, somewhere above the rear axle . keep it flat, contour it to the frame,favor the front or rear of humps. 11" long 1/4 thick x4"wide arch plates on chryslers

the bar can be angled back and go no further than the rear door. the rollover bar can be welded to the car at the back seat bar ,the inside of the rear doors and where contact is made at the rear window opening.
EXCESSIVE welding of the bar will result in excessive cutting.
**BODY MOUNTS** You may change all mounts in the body, max 5/8 size, 3'' washers ¼ thick. Rubbers can be removed and pulled down solid. NO EXTRA MOUNTS !! Bolts are not to travel through bottom of frame Use a good tape measure or bring your torch..
**DOORS** all doors may be welded solid by using 3'' wide max, ¼ thick strap on all door seams. . One ¼ plate not to exceed drivers door by 6 inches, may be welded on drivers door for safety! IF CHOOSING NOT TO WELD unlimited wire can be used on your doors. NUMBERS MUST BE ON A ROOF SIGN . Signs need to be at least 20x20.
**HOODS** Hoods can be bolted together at cut out. 12- 3/8 bolts max.. with 1 '' dia washers . No welding. hood can be secured IN 6 SPOTS. By using 1 inch bolts and 4 ''washers max. if using wire you can weld washers on hood 8 spots ,4 strands per hole . Must have 14 '' hole in center if not using headers. HOODS MUST BE OPEN FOR INSPECTION
**TRUNKS* weld trunk lid solid OUTSIDE ONLY 3"wide x 1/4thick or 8 spots of #9 wire.. not both
0ne inspection hole must be 10" X 10"IN BOTTOM OF TRUNK FLOOR!
**#9 WIRE RULE** You are allowed 8 places max. on hoods, trunks, and tailgates. 4 strand per hole. Welded washers are allowed. Sheet metal to sheet metal only .if you chose not to weld your doors you can have unlimited wire or banding on the doors .wire can go around frame to bottoms of doors.

You may weld on a front and rear bumper that is to be no taller than 15 inches and may only be as wide as the front tires. No excessively thick bumpers, use your good judgement guys. Nothing may protect the tires in any way. No frame reinforcement is allowed except for what is needed to mount the bumpers and cages. You may change pulleys for your desired gearing. Chains are allowed on your rear tires. You must hit with the front of the mower during the derby. You must make a hit every 60 seconds. No hitting the leg area of the mowers. Hits are to be made to fronts and tires of the other mowers. Helmets required. Rear Hits may be made using safe smart judgement.Must be at least 15 years of age. 6. All trucks must have working seat belts
7. Doors and tailgates must be secured by wire, chain, banding or welding
8. Windshield area must have 2 straps, rebar or #9 wire from roof to cowl panel to prevent hood from entering the cab.
9. Box and cab mounts may be replaced with up to 3/4 " bolts and 4x4 washers. body mounts may be removed
10. No trailer hitches or reinforcements of frame or body of any kind permitted. May use car bumpers. For mounting of car bumpers you may use factory car shocks and brackets or a 3" x 3" x 5" long box tube.
11. Hoods Must be in place and operable Must have a 12" hole cut in hood over carburetor
12 Hoods may be wired chained or banded shut. only 6 double strands of wire all permitted to go to frame
13 .NO 4 wheel drive trucks permitted unless you remove one of the driveshafts

Rear Suspension .. stock spring pack with 6 clamps per truck. 3" wide clamps max.
Bumpers .. minimum 20" to bottom and max is 30'' to bottom.
18. A 4 point cage is highly recommended in drivers compartment for drivers safety, bars are to be welded to body of truck .
Off the rear seat bar a roll cage can be built to protect the fuel tank in the bed. 24"long and 24" wide max . rollover bar is allowed . 2 bars can go from rollover bar to the gas tank protector .
2012 COMPACT RULES
All cars must remain stock unless otherwise noted. If it is not in the rules, it does not mean you can do it. So Don’t!
**CAR TYPE any car or station wagon that has a wheelbase of 109 and under with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine.
**Stripping:
All outside hardware such as glass, plastic, fiberglass and chrome molding, door handles, mirrors etc must be removed prior to arrival. No broken windows in doors. All flammable materials must be removed such as carpets, upholstery, headliners, and back seats. Cars must be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk area including spare tire, rims and parts. Insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. All items must be removed except for front seat and dash..
**Body:
Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 5 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 bolts and 1" washers max size
**SUSPENSION: factory stock factory leaf cars must have no more than 4 springs per side 2" stagger and 4 clamps per car.
**FRAME: factory stock, you can notch and pre bend

Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper...
**Tires and Rims:
7.50-15 maximum size, doubled, glued, and screwed tires allowed. Valve stem guards allowed.. No studded tires on drive tires. . No restriction on tread pattern or tire ply ratings. REMOVE ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS BEFORE INSPECTION. **Exhaust System:
Headers can exit straight up through the hood. If exhaust system runs under the car, it must exit under the front doors.
**Steering Column: may be swapped, aftermarket steering shafts allowed

Upon arrival a notarized parental consent form must be filled out or you will not be allowed to participate. One parent must be present with valid I.D. A notary will be present to notarize the entry forms. A PARENT OR ADULT MUST RIDE WITH THE DRIVER. this is for instructional purposes as well as a possible emergency situation

you can wire your bumpers to the trunk lid 2 places and the radiator support in 2 places with #9 wire.
THERE CAN BE 12 " OF WELD ON EACH BUMPER . THIS MEANS ON THE MOUNTING AREA YOU CAN HAVE A 3" LONG BEAD OF WELD IN 4 SELECTED LOCATIONS.
TIRES** No tractor treads and no studded tires on the front. You can glue, screw,double and stem protection is allowed. remove wheel weights.
WINDSHIELD** Must be removed. Must have 2 places of #9 wire, banding, strapping or chain in windshield area to protect driver/pass. Mount this from roof to the cowl panel. It must not be attached to the hood.
BATTERY** Must be mounted inside the car , all parts of battery must be covered with a non flammable material.
HOODS** Can be secured in 6 places. 2 strand #9 banding or chain.
Fuel Tanks***This is the most important rule to read. Any fuel system I feel that's unsafe will not pass.
Stock fuel tanks can be left in THE FACTORY LOCATION UNDER THE CAR if they are mounted in front of rear axle. I don't want to see a stock tank mounted in your back seat area. Tanks must be made of steel a 4 point hold down bolted to floor with a minimum of a 2" washer on the underside of car.All hoses must be double clamped at all connections. Electric fuel pumps must be operated by a switch that the passenger can shut off in case of a fire. I'll paint switch during inspection. Stock systems will simply use the key. remember BOTH seat belts
DRIVERS DO NOT FORGET YOUR ROOF SIGN!

Tie rods may be reinforced. REAR suspension, you can change rear coils ,1"all threadd for shocks reinforced trailing arms allowed.,
**FRAME:
. Frame must be 80 and newer. you can notch the rear frame , and pre bend if you desire. NO CUTTING THE FLAPS OR BOXES ON THE FORDS.. 26"x1/4 thick arch plate allowed
**Engine :
You may swap motors/transmissions. You may use engine of choice. Mounts at cradle can be welded in. excessive motor mounts that strengthen car will be removed!! engine oil coolers allowed . must be behind drivers seat. excessive mounting will not pass!! distributor protectors allowed
**Transmission:
Coolers are optional may be mounted behind seat. Must use transmission line for coolers. Gas line Will Not be allowed. Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount
**Rear End:
Any 5 or 8 bolt pattern accepted ~ spiders can be welded ~ You may lengthen upper control arm for desired pinion angle 2" OVERLAP. Lower control arms can be shortened.. Any drive shaft allowed. watts cars can weld 4x4squaree tubing on the frame for trailing arm mounting pockets.

Cars must be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk area including spare tire, rims and parts. Insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. All items must be removed except for front seat.
**BODY**: Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 4 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 max bolt 1'' washers allowed. Patching rust!! You can patch rusted areas using same thickness as the area your patching. No overlapping of patches. You must prove your rust . Do not exceed the rusted area by more than 2''.
**WEDGING** THERE MUST BE 8 " OF SPACE BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE TRUNK LID.
**FRAME* Trailer hitches and brackets must be removed. You may notch the frame.. you can tilt the fords, weld frame seams from firewall fore ward NO painting or undercoating on frame. PRE RAN CARS!! You may put 4, 3in x 3in plates on cars that have frame damage. If a seam has came apart, you may weld up to 6in. of frame but counts as 1 of the 4 plates allowed
2003 AND NEWER FRAME RULE
On new style cars with the aluminum cradles you may switch these out with 80 and newer steel cradles they must be put in like there factory counterparts only using the factory brackets no other metal may be added. They must be in factory location and can not be moved forward. You may use a 3” spacer from the bottom of the frame to lower A-arm where the spring goes you may not alter frame in any manner other than attaching factory brackets with a single bead of weld. You can not make homemade spring pockets. All factory holes in front of A arms must be open. The 4 holes in front of a arms behind bumper must remain open
**SUSPENSION:
You may weld the front suspension using flat stock from lower a arm to frame , 3" on frame only one piece per side 3'' wide ¼ thick max size .or use spring spacers for getting bumper height ! … You may swap A- arms of your choice, automotive only allowed. Tie rods may be reinforced. rear springs may be swapped out to a 70's model coil spring. 1" ALL THREAD CAN BE USED FOR SHOCKS.or wire the springs in with 6 strands of#9 max. Chrysler spring pack must remain 100% factory , 4 spring clamps per car
**ENGINE**
Engines may be chained in with 2 chains standard 3/8” chain max. these chains may be no longer than 16” and no more than 3 chain links may be welded to the engine cradle. Chains must attach to engine. No chains permitted to frame
Motor of choice is permitted. Distributor protectors are allowed, Nothing that attaches to engine can be wider than the stacks I.E dist. Protector, engine cradles etc.
you may use one or the other not both. (A) kicker from dash bar to D.P. but can not be welded Or bolted to D.P. .OR (B) you can have 2 kickers from the front dash bar to the top side of frame behind A arms. 2X2 square tubing only no other material may be used they must be within 2“ of A arm if you choose this option front dash bar must be 5" behind firewall.
**TRANSMISSION** Coolers are optional may be mounted behind seat. Must use transmission line for coolers. Gas line Will Not be allowed. Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount,cross member mounts must be within 12" of factory location No transmission protectors or braces of any kind permitted A skid plate may be used from the oil pan to the transmission pan this may not attach to anything else and be no wider than 16“. No braces of any kind will be permitted behind distributor protector.
**REAR END**
Any 5 or 8 bolt rear end ~ spiders can be welded ~ You may lengthen upper control arm for desired pinion angle. Lower control arms can be shortened.. Any drive shaft allowed. you can reinforce the trailing arms.
**ARCH PLATES * 1/4 thick 4"wide 24 "long only 2 per car. it can be welded solid , welded to the outside rear frame rails only, somewhere above the rear axle . keep it flat, contour it to the frame,favor the front or rear of humps. 11" long 1/4 thick x4"wide arch plates on chryslers

**BUMPERS* Any automotive bumper, hard nosing bumpers allowed. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper. BUMPERS ARE EXPENSIVE SO YOU CAN REINFORCE THE FRONT BUMPERS. BUT THEY MUST APPEAR STOCK..
IF USING 80 AND NEWER BUMPERS CAN HAVE A 4"WIDE 1/4 THICK PLATE WELDED ON THE OUTER SKIN. OR WELD A PIECE OF 2"X2" SQUARE TUBING DIRECTLY BEHIND THE FRONT BUMPER FRAME RAIL TO FRAME RAIL.
**ROLL CAGE**One bar mandatory behind driver seat. 8x8x ¼ max plates welded on body for cage. No further back then 12 inches behind door post. DASH BARS AND DOOR BARS ARE OPTIONAL FOR DRIVER SAFETY ONLY. bars can be up to 4 '' max diameter.
**ROLL OVER BAR**
the bar can be angled back and go no further than the rear door. the rollover bar can be welded to the car at the back seat bar ,the inside of the rear doors and where contact is made at the rear window opening.
EXCESSIVE welding of the bar will result in excessive cutting.
**BODY MOUNTS** You may change all mounts in the body, max 5/8 size, 3'' washers ¼ thick. Rubbers can be removed and pulled down solid. NO EXTRA MOUNTS !! Bolts are not to travel through bottom of frame Use a good tape measure or bring your torch..
**DOORS** all doors may be welded solid by using 3'' wide max, ¼ thick strap on all door seams. . One ¼ plate not to exceed drivers door by 6 inches, may be welded on drivers door for safety! IF CHOOSING NOT TO WELD unlimited wire can be used on your doors. NUMBERS MUST BE ON A ROOF SIGN . Signs need to be at least 20x20.
**HOODS** Hoods can be bolted together at cut out. 12- 3/8 bolts max.. with 1 '' dia washers . No welding. hood can be secured IN 6 SPOTS. By using 1 inch bolts and 4 ''washers max. if using wire you can weld washers on hood 8 spots ,4 strands per hole . Must have 14 '' hole in center if not using headers. HOODS MUST BE OPEN FOR INSPECTION
**TRUNKS* weld trunk lid solid OUTSIDE ONLY 3"wide x 1/4thick or 8 spots of #9 wire.. not both
0ne inspection hole must be 10" X 10"IN BOTTOM OF TRUNK FLOOR!
**#9 WIRE RULE** You are allowed 8 places max. on hoods, trunks, and tailgates. 4 strand per hole. Welded washers are allowed. Sheet metal to sheet metal only .if you chose not to weld your doors you can have unlimited wire or banding on the doors .wire can go around frame to bottoms of doors.
** TIRES..BRAKES RULE**
No tires taller than 30".Valve stem protectors allowed, wheel weights must be removed.
No split rims, studded tires or 100% steel wheels.
Doubled or foam filled tires OK - we don’t like flats!
All cars must be able to demonstrate the ability to stop at any time. If your brakes do not work, you will not compete.
THE TIRES THAT ARE ON THE CAR AT INSPECTION TIME MUST BE THE TIRES ON THE CAR WHEN IT COMPETES. DO NOT SWITCH OUT TIRES AFTER INSPECTION TO LOWER THE CARS STANCE. WE WILL BE MARKING THE TIRES…
**CORE SUPPORT** may be shimmed up with 2X2 square tubing 6” long max 1" ALL THREAD CAN BE USED FOR THE CORE SUPPORT AND TRAVEL UP THROUGH THE HOOD. 4" washer rule still applies. EXPANDED METAL 1/8 "THICK can be welded to core support to protect rad. one bead of weld around outer edge only
**STEERING SYSTEM**: may be swapped, aftermarket steering shafts allowed AIR BAGS MUST BE REMOVED
**FUEL SYSTEM** 10 gallon max of gas or alcohol allowed . Original gas tanks Must be removed. Tanks are to be mounted behind driver. They Must be mounted properly and all connections must be secured and leak proof. 5 DRAIN holes must be in floor around fuel tank. all fuel tanks must be covered with a non flammable material . Boat tank protectors are allowed but must be no larger than 24 '' wide and 18 '' tall 2 LEGS CAN BE WELDED FROM PROTECTOR TO THE FLOOR 2X2 TUBING WITH A 4X4 WASHER CAN BE WELDED TO THE FLOOR..driver safety is the main concern..
**FUEL LINE** Electric fuel pumps o.k. Must have shut off switch within drivers reach. Mounted on the rear roll cage bar. Must be 12 '' from the passenger side door .
** COOLING SYSTEM**Any radiator allowed in stock position. Secured by 9# wire, nylon straps, or bungee straps in 2 places only. Remember Water only! No coolant. Electric fans permitted. auxiliary water cooling systems are allowed, 5 GALLONS OF WATER MAX
**BATTERY**
1 battery of any size must be placed in a secure position in the front passenger side floor board. Battery box is suggested, which must be securely fastened down. Battery Must be covered.
**WIN SHIELD AREA**: Two bars or #9 wires must run from roof to cowl panel.
** BACK WINDOW AREA**
== NOTHING ROUND, SQUARE, ANGLED, in the back window, just 2 pieces of wire ,chain, or door strapping. specs on strapping is 3" wide 3/8 thick and must be welded to the roof no further up than the first 4 inches of the roof, and the first 4"where it meets the factory trunk SPEAKER DECK area.
**ROOF SIGNS** 20 X 20 must have 4 bolts with 3" washers securely fastened to the roof
KICKERS*** 2X2 pipe or square tubing from dash bar to behind the a arms. 3x3 max plate welded on top of the frame for kicker mount.
