Does anyone have much experience with the early 80's Lincoln tubular upper a-arm? I'm building a 01 Merc frame and debating on using these a arms instead of the stamped 80's style. I'm only allowed 1 2x2x1/4 strap welded front and back to weld the a-arm down.

I haven't ran the tubular type yet I've talked to buddies that have they don't really say one is better than the other
