Ok i've heard drivers aren't goin to run in this demo because it's a joke and it's not fair rules don't matter etc. just wanting too know why without what I already mentioned why someone would boycott this demo?

after the last show... i bet there will be more cars show up at this one.... so you can probably throw that boycott talk out the window.... cuz the guarenteed payout and low car count will pull in cars.... hence why i ran last month. and beware boys the ol black and pink box caprice is pulled back down and ready for another one  <<<<<---------------- that is the real reason why ppl are scared to run ;D |

boycott lol well i'll be down at marengo while this show is goin on im gonna run in a demo that has real flagmen not a bunch of dumb a$$es you guys can call me a crybaby or wat ya want cause i really dont care these flagmen at paoli absolutly suck and this is one reason for low car count time after time drivers get told not to hit then black flaged if they do hit its a JOKE messed with the rules bla bla bla they couldn't find $hit if they looked in a toilet

I just thought about somethin you know how back in my day the Paoli demo's would pay based on car count like if you had like 30 cars it would be 1,000 to win etc. what if might need to be brought up and if what i hear is true about them taking in all money why not kinda go back ot the old days where $1,200 is guaranteed but if 20 or cars show up it's $1,200 plus whatever if 40 or more cars show up it's $2,200 to win? just my thought to put some life back into this demo heck for that much my old retired demo butt would put one together and don't say it can't be done because in the late 90s beginning of the 2000s they ran that points system that I think guaranteed $1,000 to the winner of the points system (could be wrong on the guaranteed money) but for the last demo the winner of the points system would get the $1,000 plus what that driver would win that night at the demo...I think Hupp was a big winner in that points system (and I was in his path) anyway it could be done...just think about it last demo you take the $200 out of the modified heat put it in the 6 or so stock cars they had that's $1,400 not bad

THE 200.$$$ that was in the so called modified heat, was actually our own entry fee money,, and they donated 40.00 which added up to 200.00 ....... and we all split it,, so thats 50.00 each.. THE BASIC RULES OF A DEMO DERBY IS YOU HAVE 8 CARS IN A HEAT AND THE BEST 4 CARS ADVANCE TO THE FEATURE,,, NOT TO HAve a flage guy runnin up and down the wall tellin each driver who to hit and not to hit, their job is to watch for drivers door hits, safety of the drivers, and waive the red flag when the 4 cars advance to the feature,,,

they do need to do something about the money i agree i started running paoli demos in1987 its the same pay out now there as was back then gas was 75cents a gallon not 375+ entry few was 20 and that included a pit pass and there wasn't all this female doging about rules because it was a stock run as found derby back then cars could be bought running for 50 to 75 bucks and u could remove the glass and go have fun for less then 100 bucks now days some of theses guys take demo way to serious if the would do a point system like stated above that would help Ive asked at every demo for last 3 yrs for more money talked to them and told them there are no more 50 cars now a shell is 600 bucks so its costing US 10 times as much to run today for same payout and 25yrs ago is there anyone who would work for the same wages they made 25yrs ago?i think not they also need to make a pro class and a rookie class if there not going to enforce the rules I'm bringing a car to sat demo but if its the same goat screw as last month my car wont leave the trailer and ill just watch from top of hill for free

paoli's July 7th derby has been postponed due to heat. we will now have a derby in the month of october to replace it, and a date will be determined later. August and September's derby will go on as scheduled

why boycott it its a dead horse anyway here is a great idea i say how about u have the make up derby on the 13th of oct that wat all 3 of your next demo's will be on the same day as othier local shows because im sure that really helps your car count

Paoli is the only place to cancel a derby today marengo,tell city,Princeton,and three or four in ky are still being ran
