EVERYONE KNOWS THAT ITS CLOSE TO THE END.. WORD IS ON THE STREET .........GOODNIGHT DERBY ICONS.... How very correct you are Jon! Every day that goes by is just another day more and more people find out derbyicons real colors. They can say all they want about how they care and give back to drivers but let me tell you, after dealing with them behind the scenes for the past six years, they have got to be the two most greediest people I have ever dealt with in my entire life. After hearing and seeing how they have talked about many of many people, it makes me sick that I ever had anything to do with them. Especially bending over backwards and busting my butt to get them out of bind. Not to mention introducing and having them work for our youth group here in town=TOTAL EMBARASSMENT!!!!!! |

METAL MAYHEM USED TO BE FUN, NOW ITS BIG BUSINESS AND IF YOU MAKE WAVES, YOU ARE OUT. THEY HAVE RUN IT INTO THE GROUND. TORY AND DAVE TRY TO TELL US THAT THE DRIVERS WHO HAVE RUN MAYHEM FOR YEARS WANT TO TAKE TIME OFF TO " BUILD LESS,RUN MORE"... THEY SAY ITS "ECONOMICS"??.HUH?? I HAVE GOTTEN MANY, MANY CALLS REGARDING METAL MAYHEM AND WHY THOSE DRIVERS DIDNT WANT TO RUN IN MAYHEM. THEY SAW SANTELS CAR AND A FEW CHOICE OTHERS ALLOWED TO RUN WITH "ADVANTAGES" THAT OTHERS DID NOT...... THE LIES ARE KILLING WHAT ONCE WAS, "THE SUPERBOWL OF DEMOLITION DERBY", BUT ITS A SHELL OF WHAT IT WAS.. 68 ENTRIES IN MAYHEM CLASS? WHAT A HUGE LETDOWN AND IM GLAD I DIDNT WASTE ALL THAT TIME AND MONEY TO SEE IT... THEY SAY " IT WAS THE BEST MAYHEM EVER"...... WELL, IF PEOPLE ARE USED TO EATING ROTTEN FOOD, AND THEN ARE GIVEN FOOD THAT NOT ROTTED AS BAD , ARE THEY REALLY GETTING " THE BEST", OR IS IT JUST ANOTHER EXCUSE TO COVER UP EVERYTHING.  .... YOU DECIDE. CONTINUE TO BE PART OF THE CHARADE, OR STOP SUPPORTING IT....... GREED AND LIES IS THE NEWEST DERBY PROMOTING COMPANY OUT THERE. AND IF YOU DONT GET ON BOARD, THEN WE WILL RUN YOU OVER... Sorry fellas but you are wrong. If mayhem drops again where its at, they will just move somewhere else. Look at all of the people on the lower levels willing to help them out. Its a machine that is nowhere close to the end. Sorry to be negative, but as long as most of the derby population is in there corner, they are no where close to being done. A few regulars might not be happy and stay home, but the others that go will always bring new people in. I can tell you this, I have herd more guys talking about going to mayhem in 2013 than I have ever herd. Guys that should not even being considering the trip, are out looking for cars because several of the "regulars" did not run. I hear it every week. 1/2 of them will never get anything together. But the talk of people wanting to run is there, and the theme is NOW IS THE TIME!

I think my favorite part of the whole thing is MGM was banned because he screwed up one deal and has not made it right. In the vendor section Tory himself is defending the decision and attempts to build himself up for a few bad deals he helped to fix. I guess my thing is why hasn't Tory banned himself. He has now screwed up 2 deals in selling off wecrash and screwed all of the drivers by deleting the information from suddenlaunch. He has not made the deals right yet with those who were screwed (the supporters) so why is there a double standard. If we want to play the game fair is fair.

understand what you are saying Jon. Yes I agree with comments about the guys going home broke. 1 thing to think about, it means alot if you can say you made the feature at mayhem. Several look at this as there best chance to do it. The low car counts of 2012 are actually helping the 2013 counts. To many months away to know exactly what is going to happen. There fall shows all look like they are going to be good. I guess only time will tell. Just don't see this machine slowing down anytime soon.

IS IT REALLY THAT COOL IF YOU MAKE IT TO THE FEATURE AT MAYHEM WITH ONLY 68 CARS SHOWING? IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER TO SAY YOU MADE IT WITH 125 CARS, NOW WOULDNT IT. KINDA LIKE WINNING A ONE MAN TUG OF WAR......

i thought this thread deserved to be over on wecrash for the masses to read......but someone deleted it over there......it lasted a few hours at least i know and a couple people posted on it talking about conspiracies and drama starting.......all i know is that i saw what darren46d said about tory and dave and that really kind of chapped my a$$..........

Hello IMP. I am just a little confused. Are you chapped because Darren wrote what he did about Tory? OR are you chapped of how Tory and Dave acted to Darren? To me, your post could go either way. I have been out of the "game" for a while.
I do know there could be one change next spring (if there is a next spring). If it works out (lots to do), it could be a very cool thing. NO politics what so ever, that will be the cool thing.

Mr. Bryan, Hello. I am chapped because of how Tory and Dave acted towards Darren. Sorry that my post wasn't clear. I have had 1 thread and 1 post on a different thread deleted over on wecrash in the past 48 hrs. I love to be able to write freely over here without fear of deletion.
David, do you fear there is not going to be a next spring because the world is suppose to end in December?

Hello. IMP, I to agree what Darren went through was about enough to make me sick. A few short years ago, it seemed to be a very good thing for the town and youth groups. Now, I would write, not so much. A shame really.
As for next spring, I have no fear. No guilt in life, no fear in death.....
There is a lot to think about, lots to read, and programs to watch. One long story short that I like: A few years ago, while listening to the news on the radio, I heard that NASA figured the surface of the sun would be very violent in 2012 (now). This would mean sun spots, and such. I did not know people could predict the sun surface, but they also predicted this to last a few years, then, in around 2020, the surface of the sun would become very calm, perhaps for centuries. Well, if you took notes in Sunday school, take 2020, subtract seven years, and you get the early winter of 2012. Perhaps 12 20 of 20 12? I am not sure why I remembered the news that day, but it was well before any of the stories started. Now, call me what ever, but, there are days this summer I do not get any AM radio, and the internet can crawl along. Is this sun spots?
