The daviess co. Fair board will have a demo sept.29 at 7pm check in starts at 3:30. Will be running 3 class mod's, pro stock and mini's
The top 2 in the pro stock may run mod feature if 4 or more entrys if less winner only.
Pay out Mod's 1st $1400 2nd $800 3rd $500 4th $200 5th $100
Pro stock and Mini's if 5 or more 1st $300 50% payback for 2nd and 3rd.if less 100% payback plus $100
The only rule change is all cars may have 2 6x6 1/4 patches any where on outside of frame fresh or used must be ar least a 3 inch gap between hump plates and patch. no MORE THEN 2 PATCHES. this rule is not for minis or pro stock.

DAVIESS COUNTY FAIR
I have read and understand the rules, and will accept the decisions of the Judges. I will perform on the track as prepared by the Daviess County Fair. $30 entry fee will be required from each competitor.
RULES AND REGULATIONS The Daviess County Demolition Derby is promoted as an unusual attraction for spectators. In the interest of safety, anyone entering a car is subject to, and must obey the following rules:
A. ABSOLUTELY NO IMPERIALS, SUICIDE DOOR LINCOLNS, HEARSE, AMBULANCE, OR TRUCK TYPE VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.
B. Each owner must fill out and submit an entry blank for their car, along with a $30.00 entry fee. This $30.00 fee covers the driver and one pit helper. The driver’s name and name of the pit helper shall be on entry blank. (Only these people will be allowed in the pit area for each car.) The pass for this attraction is only for the event held on this date. Additional pit passes will be $15.00 for each person entering the pit area. NO ONE UNDER 16 ALLOWED IN PIT AREA.
C. The Daviess County Fair Board reserves the right to reject any and all entries.
D. All persons in the pit area shall sign the insurance release forms.
E. THERE SHALL BE NO DRINKING, NOR SHALL BEER OR LIQUOR BE BROUGHT INTO THE ARENA (PIT). ANYONE CAUGHT IN THE ABOVE ACTS SHALL BE DISQUALIFIED AND BARRED FROM ANY DEMOLITION DERBY AT THE DAVIESS COUNTY FAIR.

F. Each driver shall have a valid driver’s license. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE under 16 allowed in pit area. Photo ID required in the pit area.
G. Drivers shall use the same car and be the same driver in the feature as was driven in the heat, or his helper can drive if driver unable.
H. Any driver not obeying these rules shall be disqualified by a Fair Board Official. ONLY THE DRIVER OF THE WINNING VEHICLE SHALL PICK UP MONEY OR TROPHY AND SHOW POSITIVE ID.
I. All drivers shall remain in his vehicle while demo is in progress except for emergencies.
J. It is the responsibility of the driver to correctly identify his make and model of car on entry and inspection forms. Any false information will be automatic disqualification.
K. There will be no refund of entry or other types of fees.
L. Video cameras will NOT be considered in Fair Officials’ decisions.
M. ALL DECISIONS OF DERBY OFFICIALS ARE FINAL. A driver shall be immediately disqualified, and the driver and his car removed from the track, if driver is deemed by any derby official to have committed any act which endangers the safety of that driver, another driver, a derby official, and/or a spectator.

All cars may be pitched/tilted in the front. There is to be no metal added when pitching a car. distributur protecters will be allowed must be bolted to motor only and no wider then motor. May not be any metal add to fire wall dash bar must be six inch behind fire wall. IF YOU RUN A DP ALL FOUR DOWN BARS OF CAGE MUST GO TO BODY ONLY WELD OR BOLTED can not go to frame. Bumper skins (chrome), brackets assembly, shock housings, and shocks may be welded. Bumpers may be loaded. Bumper shocks may be welded, bolted, or chained on. Bumpers may be hardnosed. You may weld straps from bumper to frame sides no farther than two inches on frame. You may weld 2 straps from trunk lid to bumpers no wider than 3 inches wide. Hump plates are allowed. They must be no longer than 22" long: 11" each way from the center of the hump; 1/4" or less thickness; on the outside of the frame only, and must contour to the shape of the frame.All cars may have 2 6x6 1/4 patch any where on outside of frame must be a 3 inch gap between patch and hump plates. Body bolts may be replaced but no larger than 1” On ‘80-‘89 Ford's, you may add the Factory gusset behind the crush box. This is the gusset that is found on 90 and newer cars. This gusset must be installed in the factory manner.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SUSPENSION Suspension may be stiff. Do not change coils to leaf, etc. Do not replace springs or shocks with solid rods. reinforced tie rods are acceptable.

Bumper height must not be any higher than 27" from top center of bumpers to the ground, or lower than 16" from the center bottom of the bumpers to the ground. We understand used cars will possibly differ and should be acceptable. For example, Spacers may be used to raise height. Do not smash center of bumpers down to try and make height requirement. Humps may not be chained--------------------------------- --------------------------------HOODS, TRUNK LIDS, HATCHES & TAILGATES Driver’s and passenger’s doors and trunk may be welded solid. Trunk must have a 12” hole cut into it. Hoods may be bolted shut with angle iron 3 per side no angle iron longer than 7 inches and must have a 7 inch gap between pieces 1 inch allthread may be used for the core support to hold hood down and trunk A minimum of a 12-inch hole shall be cut in the hood of the vehicle over the carburetor area .Rear window bar will be allowed. It must be no wider then 6 in. It can tie in to the over the top bar. It can NOT fasten to the trunk lid or trunk floor. It may be weld or bolted to car any point forward of stock trunk lid loction

Protector may go to rear firewall. Do not beat firewall back The protector may not connect to anything other than the seat bar of the cage. The cage may have an overhead bar or roll over bar.

MISCELLANEOUS Door on driver’s side may be reinforced. Reinforcement may consist of pipe or iron. Bars shall be EITHER inside or outside of body skins except through frame and into back of vehicle A weld bar in middle of windshield. NO ALUMINUM wheels. There shall be no reinforcement made to the car frame or car. If inspectors identify such modification, the driver and his car will be disqualified and will be barred from the track. Drivers may maneuver at will, no playing dead, and NO DELIBERATE HITTING ON DRIVER’S DOOR. During the event a TWO minute time limit is imposed. Judges decisions are final. No one is allowed on the judge’s stand except Fair Officials and Judges. Vehicles shall have brakes prior to race. Car numbers shall be on a 12” tall by 20” long plate (metal or otherwise) bolted or welded to the top of the car! This also applies to the mini cars! Cars may be inspected after race! Any car spilling gasoline or on fire shall be declared out of the race at the time but will hold their position in the race. All cars shall be removed from fairgrounds before noon the following day. The Daviess County Fair will NOT be responsible for any cars remaining on the grounds. Pit boundaries shall be observed by all drivers, continued violation of boundary markers will be cause for disqualification. All helpers shall stay behind fenced area. Only drivers and officials will be allowed in track area during race. Any spectators in the arena (pit) not complying with these regulations shall be barred from the arena. Additional safety regulations may be imposed depending on track and weather conditions. Start of car check-in at 3:30 pm. Cut off time is 6:30 p.m. Entries after6:30 p.m. will not be allowed

No welding bumper to frame. No load bumpers. Frames may be cut to allow back of car to roll up. Humps may be beat in to help then from blowing out.Other than that frame must be stock.
BODY Drivers door may be weld solid. All other doors may have a six inch weld per door seam or they may be chain or wired no limit on wires. Front two body mounts (core support) and back two body mounts may be replaced. With 3/4 inch bolts and 3 inch washer. Bolts may not run Thur hood or trunk lid. All other body bolts must stay stock. Trunks may be tuck but not wedge no wedge cars. Trunk lid may be wired or chain no limit. Hoods must be wired only you may add two 7 inch angle Pisces per side(4 total) to help hold the wire. There is no limit on wire and may be in front of radiators.
CAGE A 4 point cage is allowed. The cage must go to body only welded or bolted and can not go more then 9 inch into back seat area. Cage can not be made with any thing bigger then 4 inch sq. tubing or round pipe. no dist. protectors are allowed. You may run a gas tank protector but it must stay with in 6 inch of gas tank and no closer then 12 inch to rear fire wall.
SUSPENSION. You may kick coil springs out. Ti- rod in's may be reinforced. Other then that suspension must be stock.
MOTOR & REAR ENDS. Any motor can be ran in any car. May run any rear end in any car. Rear ends may be welded. You may run home made motor mounts, headers and floor shifters.
Slider drive shafts will NOT be allowed
