It's official, Tim Strohl will have Warren County this year. He worked very hard to create a set of rules to keep everyone happy, and I think everyone can agree this show will offer something for everyone. First of all, the total purse is going to increase from $3500 last year to $6800 this year. Here is the breakdown of what the show is going to look like.
Tuesday
3 small car heats and feature (Carbon Rules)
*$125 + trophy for heat win (last 3 running, 4th earns feature spot)
*$1000 + trophy for feature winner
*$250 + trophy for feature runner up
*Fair board will throw in an extra $500 to the payout if they get 40 cars
Friday
2 Heats of limited weld rules (Carbon Rules)
*$150 heat + trophy for heat win (last 3 running, 4th earns feature spot)
*$1000 + trophy for feature winner
*$300 + trophy for feature runner up
2 Heats of pro-mod (Nationwide Rules)
*$150 heat + trophy for heat win (last 3 running, 4th earns feature spot)
*$1000 + trophy for feature winner
*$300 + trophy for feature runner up
This should give you an idea of what to build to. Rules are being finalized, some have get approved by the NJ State Police, so please be patient.
