I'm getting a 93 vic here soon, Whats the basic stuff I need to do?
My rules are I can't tilt, 3 inch spacers up front, 3 3"x4" patches per vertical seem, no tucking or wedging but i can U it drip must stay in factory location.
I'm using a 31 spline 9 inch and a SBM.
Thanks.

Thanks. If you can't tilt you wont need spacers up front. I'm guessing the 3"-4" patches you mean how you can weld your doors shut? If you can't tuck it just notch the frame and make some relief cuts to the trunk lid where you want the truck to fold at.

You still need spacers up front, no one likes to lose a radiator...

You still need spacers up front, no one likes to lose a radiator... The point of spacers are to let the clip bolt back up easily not to get hight for the radiator there's other ways to do that.

the reasoning for spacers is to "Space the radiator up" amongst other deep dark secrets... i mean im sure if you wanted to you could not run spacers.. but personally.. you'll never see me run a 80+ GM or Ford without spacers... 3" is barely enough to clear the fan if you run a sbc... he!! vito.. text me sometime.. ill help you out

We always did it to keep the core support from hanging below the bumper. How and why would you do it any other way?

I was referring to get the front higher not just the core support. And if you guys say that three inches is enough to clear ill take your word for it. I figured you would need atlease 6.
