Im sure Tude has made it clear he doesn't want his pics on here i replaced his pics, And we here at wesmash have no part of what goes posting if someone post your pictures edit it or other wise its fair game, If it's something that can be replace i'll do my best to change it for you Sam...
I really would like a reply from sam himself to see what he has to say and not just edit pictures and go on with his day post back if this works for you...
Later Ryan

If he's so loyal to wecrash , why is he here in the first place ? Ive posted 100's of pictures in the past and could care less who/where they may get viewed or posted....That's why my bedroom door stays closed ..

Even quoted my name in what they took. That is normal for anysite and any person to do... Infact between all the demo forums if something was of interest to me I would quote it and the author and paste it to another forum as well. Not in the forum of Crossposting which is glorified spam , but in the interest of having a discussion or spreading knowledge on a forum. Fact is quoting "Tude" spread to ALOT more forums then just here.. and that occured long before wecrash switched. Now, If I went back to the OLD Wecrash Proboards and Wecrash Suddenlaunch Forums you can find ALOT of posts that didn't originate on Wecrash but were QUOTED and brought into the wecrash community by someone. Infact I did it often.. and I still will. I would be PISSED however if someone had taken an authors stuff and posted it as theirs and not given the original author credit. That doesn\t seem what occurred here.. since you are quoted in the thread. With regards to pictures.. I grab pictures from anywheres when it comes to derbycars...and I post them on many other forums publicly and privately. Imagine my surprise when I found a few picts on another forum and then found the owner of the pictures on another forum different from that one... I pmed the owner and sent him the pict.. asking him if this was his car.... Sure enough it was.. he was on the wecrash and was thrilled...so I sent him some more. What goes around comes around... Fact is.. up until a few months back all this stuff happened before and no one complained or said anything... Now for some reason... Wecrash and people on it are appearing like they own everything... Tude.. I grab your old pictures off Wecrashtoo and I would grab them off the old democar suddenlaunch forum... Until you brought this up.. and yes some pictures and threads go missing from time to time.. I would post that neat poop or pics on other forums...some non derby related.. and others more obscure or less read derbyforums.. Never heard BOO!!! And have been doing this for years... Now its a problem because someone here has done it and quoted you? Its your opinion.. you are entitled to it.. I think you got some of the best knowledge in the sport and always enjoyed reading your stuff and looking at your pics.. I just happen to disagree with you in this case.. Wecrash.proboards. and Wecrash.suddenlaunch were PUBLIC forums..

On a last note.. If one considers the USER/Poster to be the originator of the thread and information.. One should note that there is a difference in WECRASH.PROBOARDS.COM and WECRASH.COM and that if one considers the information theirs.. a person could request all their posts and information removed from the NEW wecrash.. as it is NOT the same.... And lots of information was ported over... The reverse argument would be that information was taken from one Public Proboards forum and put on another public proboards forum... vs a private webpage and forum... In the end... in my 2 posts there are many different positions and variables.. At the end of the day... I think its all very petty... I am getting ticked at the "holier then thou" attitude coming from some of the latest forum changes.. I never ever noticed this crap before... I know feel I been dragged into this mess when Before .. the years before using all the forums.. all that mattered was the derby poop... not the poop... Time for some forums to grow up..

Well I had to look at the Legaleezze and it was easy enough to find as the terms of reference here would have been the same on the Wecrash Proboards... Here it is... 15. USER CONTENT "User Content" is any content, materials or information, not including Personal Information (as defined in ProBoards' Privacy Policy), that You upload or post to, or transmit, display, perform or distribute by means of, the Website, whether in connection with Your use of Services or otherwise. YOU HEREBY GRANT THE PROBOARDS PARTIES A PERPETUAL, FULLY PAID-UP, WORLDWIDE, SUBLICENSABLE, IRREVOCABLE, ASSIGNABLE LICENSE TO COPY, DISTRIBUTE, TRANSMIT, PUBLICLY DISPLAY OR PERFORM, EDIT, TRANSLATE, REFORMAT AND OTHERWISE USE USER CONTENT IN CONNECTION WITH THE OPERATION OF THE WEBSITE, SERVICES OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR OR RELATED BUSINESS, IN ANY MEDIUM NOW EXISTING OR LATER DEVISED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IN ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT THE PROBOARDS PARTIES MAY PUBLISH OR OTHERWISE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR EXERCISE OF THE LICENSE GRANTED UNDER THIS SECTION. YOU AGREE TO WAIVE, AND HEREBY WAIVE, ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE EXERCISE BY THE PROBOARDS PARTIES OF THE RIGHTS GRANTED UNDER THIS SECTION, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO YOUR RIGHTS OF PERSONAL PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY. YOU WILL NOT BE COMPENSATED FOR ANY EXERCISE OF THE LICENSE GRANTED UNDER THIS SECTION. 16. PUBLIC FORUMS "Public Forum" is any area, site or feature offered as part of the Website (including without limitation discussion forums, message boards, blogs, chat rooms, emails or personal messaging features) that enables You (a) to upload, submit, post, display, perform, distribute and/or view User Content, and/or (b) to communicate, share, or exchange User Content with other Website members or other Website visitors. You acknowledge that Public Forums, and features contained therein, are for public and not private communications. Tude, not to be a thingy man.. but when ya post something online its not yours anymore, if you dont like what there doing over here on this site, then dont log in man.. This is not entirely true. It may be in this case but not everything that is posted online is just free for anyone to use. There are a lot of items on the web that are copyrighted and if used could result in a lawsuit. It all depends on the user agreements and the site copyright. For example anything posted on facebook is the property of facebook. Anything posted on my forum is the property of me. Now that does not mean that if something is copied from there they are going to press charges or go after you. They could and have every legal right if they want but unless there is a financial reason or the want to set an example it probably won't happen. The best case I can use to explain this is Napster. Not only did they take down the owner and business they also went after some of those who downloaded from the site. By your argument they could have only gone after the owner as everyone else was just downloading something that was posted and free to anyone because it was online. This is not the case however because stealing is stealing. It doesn't matter the way in which you get it be it online or in a store. Now back to the topic on hand my opinion is the owner of the pictures asked them to be removed. Regardless of what you feel is right the noble thing to do would be to take them down. This would be taking the higher road and respecting the wishes of the owner of the pictures in question.

Wow! Remember the good old days when we used to share info and pics to better our sport. Keep it up guys and you will be chasing the sport even further to extinction. I understand the hard feelings amongst a few of us on here. And for good reasons. But for now, we have two similiar boards to use. Maybe that is what we need to separate the anger. I myself like having more choices even though it seems that the traffic is way down on both sites. As far as pictures go, once posted online any one can copy them and reuse them in any way imaginable whether legal or not. If someone asks for their pictures to be removed from here then that is what should be done. The problem is that once posted, anyone could have copied or saved on their hard drive your pics without your permission before you take them down.Good luck with stopping that. The internet can be very unforgiving. Tude: you are a credit to us. Please dont take your toys and go home. You are welcome here too.
