What all do I need to change to run a gm gearbox? Center section, pitman arm, idler arm??? If soo change it to what? Thanks

Sorry it's going on a 99 frame. And you can move this to 98-02 section.

99% Sure there using stock ford drag links and using the gm pit arm and box

yes just use the gm gear box with the gm pitman arm.

IMO id stick to the 80-91 steering boxes they dont break unless you run no powersteering, Ive seen a few break at the splines but not often

Ya I've never had a for box break but I run p/s. I was just thinking of changing it up. Idk now. Decisions decisions.

I've heard a manual box off an older s-10 works well

I run the stock gear box that came with the car. I don't run powersteering and have never broke a gear box not even in my 94 up lincolns.

I always run power steering. For 2 reasons. First the only car I didn't run it in was a 71 olds and I broke the box. Just didn't have time to hook it up. And second I'm a smaller guy so it's a whole lot easier to turn that wheel lol

If u buy a manual steering box for a 68 to 70 camaro,chevelle or nova. There have a 25 to 1 ratio. U can turn them without even trying. My 6 yr old can turn the wheel easily to give u an example.its like running power steering but obviously no power steering.
