Thanks! I've never run a Chevy engine ever lol. I've been using nothing but stock 318's with some tall gears and for the last couple of seasons a 3 speed manual tranny. Last year was terrible for me, lots of engine problems mainly due to the fact that I was trying to squeeze every last drop out of a very worn out sbm. Trying my first big block this year though, in the process of building a nasty 383... well best of luck this year! in my 84 gran fury she runs like a champ with the chevy 350

this car was awesome slant 6 and all was pulling for it to win when it ran ;D Hey 4th place wasn't too shabby being severely underbuilt and underpowered, she wouldn't give up!

After running the muddiest feature I've ever run: Then for another show later that year I tried an experiment of welding a shocker sub a-arms forward to the existing y-framer sub and re-clipping the sheetmetal...needless to say it didn't work but I still got a good half hour more out of it :

this is my first car ive built, plannin on runnin it in may, not completly done yet but this is what ive got so far, dont know if its classified as "mean" though. 66 fury3
