First of all, I appreciate all of you and the contributions you have made to the old site and the time and work you have spent putting this site together. With that said, I have to tell you my opinion. I certainly mean no disrespect and I hope you will take this for what it is... My Opinion. I had some problems with the new wecrash along with everyone else. My problems were quickly resolved. That site is a work in progress and I really believe that they are trying to respond to complaints. I, like many of you do not care for the attitudes of some of the moderators, but I believe, in time, all of that will be rectified. With that said, I believe that fragmenting the derby community is not a good thing. With all of our support, I sincerely believe that the new wecrash can become all that the old site was and probably a lot more. I would love to see us all stick together and positively and productively help develop a site that will serve all of our needs. I value the input and opinions of all of you, I know many of you and I would love to see us all remain the one big happy dysfunctional family that we have become. We cannot do that if we separate to our own little kingdoms. Just my 2 cents.... David Gard I hope you take this for what it is....my opinion just like the above comment was your opinion... with that being said here are my thoughts... obviously there are a ton of people unhappy with the new site and the fact that certain people get catered to because they have extra money to be a "PREMIUM" promoter or vendor... Of all people that have helped the sport, YOU and TORY should know that with the economy the way it is, paying even more money is not the way to go... what about guys like me that volunteer time to help build the sport or help build certain shows from integrity and fair and honest inspection... I dont get paid a dime to tech/promote and of the shows that I help with and as far as Im concerned I never will. I have spent numerous hours trying to build the Indiana State fair show up to what it should be, along with many other guys... Last year we had one helluva good thing going with a ton of posts and the site crashed... we lost 90% of what we had but thankfully some of us were smart enough to save the important things to repost when the site got back up and running... Last year by this time ( on 1 site ) we had 12-15 pages of chatter and numerous responses to the show... Now with the formation of a new site (that most hate) there arent half that many posts... How is this helping the sport grow to what we all want? how is paying to be a "premium" promoter helping the sport? how does this help the local guys like Rmr1181 that volunteers his time to do two shows a year a boone co, or us working so hard to build the state fair show? why is it when we complain on the new site it gets deleted, but when you or Tory complain its gets fixed right away? The people in charge of the new site are nothing but money hungry, arrogant and could care less if the average joe does anything on the site... I used to get on wecrash at least two times a day but now I go to this site and use facebook to promote the shows instead of wecrash because of the fact of no action on the threads..... Prime example was the RR thread... show wasnt even over yet and it was moved... then had to do a search to find it because it wasnt moved to the past events either... seems like the mods dont even have a clue how to do thing on a VERY complicated site... once again this was JMO... sorry if the grammar isnt quite correct.. Im not a college educated suit and tie guy, Im a semi redneck that loves the country part of the derby world! IM SURE IM NOT ALONE WHEN I SAY THAT MOST OF THE DERBY WORLD ISNT RICH AND SUPER INTELLIGENT.... hence why we all like THIS site.... |

First post. I see many familiar screen names here. Some familiar names at the new Wecrash also. The new Wecrash has some features that I really like, and the Pro Boards forum is like an old friend.
I try to stay positive, so I look at it this way. I now will have the chance to do a side by side comparison of both sites and truly see where the derby world wants to go. We are grateful for the opportunity to advertise here and on Wecrash as well.
