drill doctor i'm with you guys... i use the stock bolt on the hd 400's..... then drill and tap to a 3/8 on the 350's. never had a problem.

How do you get it to drill I have and aod on my ford and I can't get it to drill tryed three bits still no good Had a 3 speed one couldn't drill it either. I ended weld a bolt to the output shaft. It worked just fine 3/8 bolt is plenty IMO

I drilled mine with a 21/64th bit and tapped to 3/8 with a grade 8 bolt

seen it done the other day, 1/2 bit , 1/2 drill an a poop load of cuttin oil. U dont want to drill it more than a inch

I drilled mine with a 21/64th bit and tapped to 3/8 with a grade 8 bolt drilled one abit back, broke tap off in it and couldnt get it out, i also flipped a bolt and welded it up. seems to be working well so far...
