I've got a 73 caddie that has a 472 in it. I'm going to run this motor (not changing to a sbc). Here's the question. It has 3 lines running to the fuel pump, one's the line to the carb and two came from the tank. Is there a replacement fuel pump like one from a sbc (one in and one out) or can one of the lines be (safely) blocked off? Thanks for any info.

I'm not a GM guy but I would think a 73 should have a fuel pump on the block. You could run a low pressure pump inline somewhere.I think that the 3rd line on the tank (smallest diameter) should just be nothing more than a vent line. The other??? some sort of return I would say but shouldn't be needed as long as u have a low pressure pump you shouldn't need a return line.
