 how do you get rid of the car security system in these contour took glove box and air bag and seats and trim and now that thing is on and no start no radio or any thing but the battery is full charge

If you are looking for some answers , you may wanna try to explain your problem a little more clear.. What thing is on ? does it crank ? Is the ignition firing ? Is the theft light flashing ? EXPLAIN..

the anti theft is behind the glove box area.. did you cut any wires?

the anti theft is behind the glove box area.. did you cut any wires? the light is on full time and i think all i cut was the aig bag out of it thanks i will go look to see if i got other wires every thing i have found on google every one says it blikes when it acts up and if i want to spend 80.00 i can get some thing to disarm the hole thing should i rehook up the air bag and just like it shoot out when i hit some one? |

you can try to just hook it up see if it starts.. if it does unhook the wires one at a time.. you maybe able to pull the air bag set it off then hook it back up.. i have never had that happen normally the yellow wire that is in there is the ignition wire.. you can also try to jump the solenoid

The SRS (air bag) system on a 98 contour has nothing to do with the pats ( anit theft ) system.. Sounds like you cut some wires that you shouldn't have on accident.

Sounds like you cut some wires that you shouldn't have on accident. ;D i goggled it and some people was saying it was there battery i hooked up a battery charger and in 5 mins it started this is going to suck running this thing if i loss the belt and the battery wears down and dont know what to do when it forgets the key is there |
