Dirt worker knows his sh!t about these metric GM's. I've ran one of his tilted Caddys and the front hardly moved from all the nosing I was doing with it.

I get a lot of pms asking for advice on these cars. What I will say to everyone is it is simple physics. You want your frame to be as flat/straight as possible. When you tilt you don't want to put in addition bends. I could write a book about the front of metric caddys but I can't just simply tell you how to tilt one tho. It takes several things to make the tilt work correctly.

so tilt behind trans crosmember? Think about what he said: "You want your frame to be as flat/straight as possible. When you tilt you don't want to put in addition bends." What is tilting behind the crossmember going to do? Put another bend in the frame?

I have tilted a 85 caprice wagon but here is the question is it a solid frame or a non full frame. Non full frames it doesn't really do squat for accept make it belly out faster, A full frame it makes a huge difference.

I tilted a 94 Caddy as well as hard nosing it, true hard nose, cut the frame as much as possible.
I wasnt that impressed. It didnt go A-arm forward but went straight up, pushed in then up. Didnt really last much longer IMO.
