I HELPS SLIGHTLY, BUT THEY STILL BEND AT THE BAD SPOTS, JUST A FEW HITS LATER....... You can't be serious! VERY SERIOUS. TAKE A METRIC CADDY FOR EXAMPLE, THE MOST COMMONLY TILTED GM. IT WILL STILL GOOSENECK AT THE FIREWALL, AND PINCH INWARD AT THE IDLER ARM HOLES. THATS SERIOUS....... VERY SERIOUS.. LIKE A HEART ATTACK SERIOUS..... ITS SERIOUS BUSINESS, SERIOUSLY. YES, IM SERIOUS......

i respect u crusher and love to hear what you have to say with that said i have cold tilted a metric caddy and had good luck with it it stayed straighter in front of the humps and with your bumper shocks done right the idler arm is not a problem but it does make it push back at the sweeps and then bend up at the front of the a frame brackets and i think the 20 min it takes is well worth it

You proved on the other board that you don't know metric gms, so stop trying to give advice on them. A properly built/tilted caddy will not bend at the firewall for a long time. And as for the a arms forward there is plenty of ways to fix them within most any rules. My last tilted caddy ran 3 hard shows and only bent very slightly a arms forward from a full track shot nose to nose. The only reason it got junked was because there was nothing left of the assend and it wasn't safe to run anymore. Tilting like jonesmotorsports keeps making post about is not the right way to do it either. The goal of tilting is to make a frame as straight as possible, not to put more bends in it!

No, he said it does very little and only adds a few hits. I said if done right it makes all the difference in the world and don't bend at the firewall for a long time. They usually don't bend at all at the firewall.

Yes you can still tilt a caprice. A caddy just benefits more from it IMO.
