K so i live in the city and have a 95 bubble gm wagon that i need to get the body off the frame. Im thinking if i take my cherry picker and shove it all the in from the rear with the tailgate off. Then take a long chain and bolt it to the very front body mount holes and attach the triangle to the chain on picker and extend the picker arm all the way out and lift, will the picker be enough to lift the body? The front two mounts bolted with chain and the picker arm pushin up on the roof by the back seat, will the picker able to handle this i dont have any big machines to lift this body or the man power to just roll the body off the frame.
Or any other ideas have two jacks and some steel and jack stands and my garage is not tall enough or sturdy enough to chain to roof and lift that way.

take the doors and any thing else to get the weight down and it might work.. what i have done in the past before i acquired the tractor was used a couple reg floor jacks some concrete blocks About 16 needed and a couple 10 ft 4x6's... jacked the car up with the floor jacks using the area outside the frame... slide the 4x6 under the body and the using the floor jacks under the 4x6 jack the body up.. block it and keep going until you can roll the frame out from under the car. may not be the fastest way but it worked.

One picker each side is how I do it. Get enough room to get under it and do the body mounts and other stuff while being safe.

I used a cherry picker for years. I took the front clip off and hooked chains around the 4 door pillars.

your cherry picker will do the trick. ive used everything a free standing A frame with a chain hoist to my truck and a chain. whatever it takes to get the job done.
