Looks like everybody went running back to wecrash...I honestly cant believe that. You have a perfectly working forum here that is basically identical to wecrash (without the BS), yet everyone ran right bak to them. What do they have to offer that this place doesnt?
What a shame. I guess people can screw others over and be sneaky little bi**hes, and still get everyone's support.

We need to come up with a plan to save We Smash. Lets get some new up to date builds posted on here let get the tip and tricks moving again. Noone has brought me any cars yet and i don't have any to build myself to get picture posted. There is more activity on sam and wades site then here.

It don't help when I ask for help and get no replies! So when that happens I begin to post on other sites.I seem to get more input from guys on wecrashtoo.com .... after a couple days with no replies I deleted my topic. but 100+ bothered to read it and I know theirs vic builders out there.

I guess people can screw others over and be sneaky little bi**hes, and still get everyone's support. Sad. There are several reasons why but probably the biggest is they have Tory Schutte. Like him or hate him he has a way with manipulating people to his point of view. I still hold that there would be a few who would jump off a cliff if he told them to do it. The second big thing is people see wesmash as a copycat of wecrash. Wesmash was great when it was new wecrash or proboards wesmash as both had basically the same info just different ways of dispensing it. Now that proboards is back, which if you want my opinion as to why see my other post in this section, and people ran right back to it as it is the "original" and many of the big contributors are there like Joker14, DM440C, etc. The third is the derby world has changed. There are probably very few who actually care that parts were copied, fairs were scammed out of their money, etc. Most get on to get quick information without learning the hard way. Websites are actually very simplistic. If the information doesn't change enough there is not a reason for someone to keep coming back. Forums are the worst for this. If there is only enough information added to check it out once a week that is all you are going to get on that particular forum. Most derby people check things out at least once a day so if there is not enough activity they will go where there is. If you want to save wesmash you need more active participants. It doesn't help to have 1800 members if only 10 are active. I am going to throw in a plug again for joining forces over to forum.derbythis.com. We don't have a ton of members but the members we do have are active so information is constantly changing. We also can compete with wecrash as we have things we can offer that you can't have on proboards. It is very difficult to compete when you are on the same platform with the same information. Eventually one is going to become dominate and we have already seen that will be wecrash. Probably the other major downfall was what has happened here recently. It is fine to say there is no censorship but people do get driven away when the most active threads are members arguing back and forth on whose d!ck is bigger. This needs to be kept in check, not to the extent of wecrash of deleting things and banning users but at least tell them to argue using the pm system instead of filling up the forum with useless junk. A great example of this is the Rear Axle question and answer area. There is a lot of knowledge there on the members part and a ton of great information but who wants to read through 20 pages of arguing to get the 20 posts that are actually useful. If you want my opinion wesmash will only be here a little while longer especially considering I have not seen any activity from the owners for some time. I have seen more activity from them on wecrash than here. Another plug for forum.derbythis.com, our members are very knowledgeable so if you have a question on something try us out. You can typically get a quicker answer than most other forums from what I have been told. You may get a quicker response elsewhere talking condescendingly to you but that is not a helpful answer. |

If you actually read the post I told you exactly how to save wesmash. I do contribute to tips and tricks just not here or wecrash. I personally don't care if wesmash stays or goes. The fact of the matter is unless you have something more to offer than wecrash they are going to win this little battle. This is like Mercury(wesmash) trying to battle Ford(wecrash). Ford is more well known and other than some branding and badging they are essentially the same car. If you don't have some Mercury only options to entice a typical Ford buyer you will never get them to buy into your brand. You will still get those who want the Mercury name but if Ford offers them more they will buy a Ford. The only reason I do advertise my forum is I believe it to be a Cadillac. There are so many power options and better standard features that it can compete against Ford. Stop and read what I posted and tell me if any of my suggestions are not what wesmash needs if they wish to stay in business. |

We smash will always be here And We smash will win eventually, or i will die trying to make is a success. I have a bet that soon as the derby season is over We Crash will have another punch in the face for everyone.If it wasn't for Gard we crash pro boards would already be dead.

Mine will be up there the end of may as well. We can do this together. I have a guy that owns a vinyl shop here as well that I am going to have wrap one of my cars advertising for wesmash
