Whats the best way to mount a front bumper on a 70's GM?
Hard nosing them or running the bumper shocks?

going to need some more info to help answer your question. 70's gm is way to broad of a question to ask,a specific year and model would be a big help, also a set of your rules pertaining to bumper mounting would also be helpful.

If it's a chrysler pointy will be to much bumper for that frame, I usually weld the chevy buckets on to the frame and run a good74-76 impala bumper, but I recently hardnosed a 76 olds bumper onto the front the my wagon, hardnosing helps keeping the nose from going sky high really fast, but the rules will be your decision maker
