NEW INSTALL WON'T AFFECT YOUR OLD DDF8GAME. Thus you won't lose your own personal Modifications of your old game. DDF8 1.22.3 will be a SEPARATE FOLDER, and SEPARATE ICON Launch (identified as 1.22.3) although look IDENTICAL to OLD GAME, so get used to TWO of Everything.

DON'T DELETE ANY CARS AFTER YOU INSTALL THIS PACKAGE, EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM OR DON'T USE THEM!!! THEY ARE NECESSARY and MUST REMAIN UNLESS OTHERWISE MENTIONED.

ALL FUTURE RELEASES FOR DDF8 1.22.3 Will be OFFICIAL , FULLY TESTED, and COME WITH A DEDICATED INSTALL PACKAGE..
This is the update, 10 months in the making. Download and install the files, no copying and pasting or complicated instructions to install. This will not delete or overwrite previously installed versions of DD&F8 that are on your computer, your own modifications or mods to older versions will not be changed and will still be where you left them.
Make sure to install the 1.22.3 setup first! Those of you using Windows XP and older systems will have to download the XP patch.

The AI driver package is not in an extractor, in order to allow you to pick and choose what AI cars you want to UNZIP and when KEEP THIS ZIPFILE as you can reuse it over and over to change AI drivers. If you want team cars but not team vans, you can do that. If you want an all truck derby, you can do that. Simply Replace the Current Drivers Folder Used by the Game with one of the many Drivers Folder Choices provided, inside each folder Description)
Do not delete any of the cars, tracks, or other files from this release, as doing so can cause crashes and complications online .
Game is set to Beginner Level. You must win 3 Local Derbies to Unlock Regional Tracks and Cars. You must Win 3 Regional Derbies to Unlock National Tracks and Cars. (METAL MAYHEM is a NATIONAL LEVEL TRACK)
