Lol Chrusher you crack me up. When I was doing them I had a little over 30 hours for a full frame, that's only about 16 bucks an hour, hardly a price rape. My business was seasonal so I offered to the labor out there since I was pretty much sitting around for the winter. And the lower mounts came off before the engine went in. No after pics, but they bend just like a regular Vic, just took a little longer to go.
Derbybob- we can seem weld so we've never had any problems with the seems splitting. Probly won't ever since that kind of work is wrote out of most of the rules now.

Does anyone feel that shaping the frame gives some cars an unfair advantage?

Its not unfair... If the guys without the shaped frames are too lazy to pick up a hammer then they can't cry when someone else does. Just like any other aspect of the build. You get back what you put in... Just my $.02

it doesnt cost anythign bu ttime anyone can do it to any frame peopel are just to lazy and would rather complain or not do i tlike the rest of society
