Coil springs out of a F150, and I heard the chevy 3/4 ton leafs might work. Heard they will and heard they won't idk, were gonna try it on our 84 Delta 88, and remove the rubber pucks under the a arm, jack the car up in the front so the tire is barely off the ground and than weld a chain from the a arm to the side of the frame or the spring bucket. Keeps the front stiff and high

hardnose a decent but not too hard bumper, get the front as high as allowed, rear locked up if you can also, and double notch and pre bend the rear, i personally run a bumper on the rear just to try to keep frame rails straight.. some do not personal choice.. make sure you cut the firewall for distributor clearance. most of mine have either bellied under the doors or bent in the S in the front frame rail really bad.. never had one go down built the way i described.

pitch it right. Put a pointy on it. Flat stack it with leafs and run the heck out of it.

form my experience with the ones i ran they like to tare the center body mount out under the door post i like to cold tilt there and that seems to help keep the mount ahead of the hump from dropping to some nine wire to the frame helps too beat the humps in and hard nose get creative with the bumper shocks and the front frame and it will help it around the idler arm hole

HEY LISTEN, ALL YOU GUYS WANTING TO RUN THESE CARS, DON'T LET THE REARENDS GOING DOWN DETOUR YOU AWAY FROM THESE CARS. THEY'RE REALLY VERY TOUGH CARS FROM FIRE WALL FORWARD. YOU'VE REALLY GOT TO SPEND SOME TIME ON THESE CARS, DO ALOT OF PREP WORK, ESPECIALLY THE REAR QUARTERS & TRUNK AREA. REDO ALL BODY MOUNTS & #9 WIRE THE SIDE FRAME RAILS TO THE BODY IN NUMERIOUS PLACES TO KEEP FROM BELLYING. THESE CARS CAN BE VERY COMETITIVE AGAINST OLD IRON & THE FORDS OF TODAY. BESIDES THEY ARE PLENTIFUL OUT THERE & CAN BE BOUGHT FOR CHEAP.
