I'm going to be running a return style regulator and I was just curious if it was ok to run the return line to the top of the fuel cell. I heard a story once that gas "falling" from the return port to the other gas in the fuel cell creates static. Just wondering if there was any truth to that.

Is there pick-up tubes on those top fittings?

for the return there's no tube or hose etc. inside the tank.

its a lie, if it was true, all the gas that "falls " FROM THE HOSE NOZZLE AT THE GAS STAION WOULD BLOW YOUR CAR UP.. URBAN MYTH/LIE.............

Crusher, that's the first thing that came to my mind too was a gas station. But at a gas station i'm sure there's manadated ground wires to manage static (if there were any) etc etc. Just thought i'd ask, better safe than sorry when it comes to gas.
