I have a good running 8.3 cummins and a Allison trans. Both are currently in a L8000 ford dump truck. I am also parting the truck out. Asking $3000 for the pair. (motor and tranny) Will consider trades on just about anything of value.

I forgot to mention this is a mechanical engine. There's little to none electronics.

Been curious if these are externally dimensionally the same as the 5.9?

They are a little bigger in every direction. It is possible to put them in a pick up with work.
I don't need to sale it but if I don't I will be putting it in a 91 Chevy one ton.
