ANYONE 16-18 MUST HAVE PARENTS NOTARIZED RELEASE FORM TO ENTER THE DERBY GROUNDS AND ALL MUST SIGN THE RELEASE FORMS TO BE IN PITS

Just to let everyone know If the 20 car min. is not met. say 15 show up. It will come off the bottom. so it would then be

From the sound of things around here we should have plenty of cars but i just wanted everyone to know. we are working hard to make this a great show.

I am also putting together some pretty sweet maddog packages, money, and trophies for all classes!!!

This is what we have put together so far for the maddog in each class!!!


a box of welding wire


a bolt tray with sizes 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 bolts, washers, and lock nuts.


And an electrical box with everything you need!

We are also making some really nice maddog trophies to go with the prizes. I should have pics of those in a couple weeks.

I got everything approved tonight for us to have a watermelon smash at the start of every heat for all classes, and for the features. The first person to hit the watermelon in the middle of the track gets $100 per watermelon!! This should be fun ;D

Glad to see something is being done to get this show going again. I like the watermelon smash idea, heard of it but never seen it. Wish i was running with everyone butyou'll you'll have to wait till next year.

Was wodering on bolt and chain class if its allowed to weld bumpers and shocks and drivers door??
This is how ares are... I wood have 3-4 cars for the bolt class.

I think it a pre-entry only. That's the way it has been in the past.

I've been getting alot of calls about this event which is good!

Everyone has to pass tech by 6pm, so come early!

I'm thinking 70 cars total between all the classes.

It's going to get very interesting in the weld class.

I want the drivers to know that we are doing this for them to give more incentive to build a car, and to improve this show. If it is a hit this year the fair board is willing to do more to help it be even better for next year. So if your running a car, or a driver coming to watch to see how it goes, please attend the drivers meeting and we will discus what to do for next year and how we should structure the payouts.

Thanks to all the drivers who are planning on running this show, I am very excited to see everyone there!
