Anyone else being effected by the wildfires.... Waldo canyon that is burning to a crisp is just 15 min away..... Please keep all the families that lost their homes in your prayers.... As of now it has burned 6100 acers and its no where near contained yet

So far 350,000 + acers have burnt, 32k plus evacuated and many thousands of homes have burnt to the ground. It is 5% contained. With the storms coming it is expected to spread more. Please everyone pray for all effected

As of right now it is not coming toward me. The wind shifts rapidly so it very well could. the 350,000 + acers is for the entire state. The one i can see out my window has rose from 6,100 yesterday morning to 15,324 today. the total number of evacuees is 32,500 people. On a side note they are asking us to not use water due to the water shortage to fight this wildfire. They also are no where close to having it cointained. I can currently smell the smoke and burnt wood.

They are also asking for donations for the people who are fighting these fires and also the ones who lost everything. It is all local right now but once a national way is set up i will be sure to post it.

The total for this particular fire is at 18,500.... 300 + homes burnt, over 32,000 evacuated. about 5 miles from my house still but it could very easily change direstion and take my home

well it was 50% contained but now that Obama decided to visit and ground all the aircrafts that was fighting the fire it got bigger and now only 25% contained. Thanks Obama we appreciate it

The fire is not under control they are letting the evacuated return.... I am however a victim now. Lost everything... Insurance is going to pay for all but the 100x100 barn full of derby stuff and two cars that was in there. I will be taking a few weeks away to get everything situated and back to the normal life(if thats possible). thank you to everyone who has fought this fire and also to all the prayers

Well guys and gals im back.... It wasnt two weeks but i got my life as normal as it can be and i have obligations on here too. Id much rather be on here with my derby family then outside looking at the blacknened ground anyways. Thank you all for the prayers. Also looking to start over now so anyone have stuff cheap please let me know. I need everything. Thanks again guys
