Easy way to fix the front is weld the shocks to the out side of the frame it helps a lot

What about the fairmount wagons are you guys running the stock motor or putting in a 4.3. How strong are these compared to all the other compacts?

what motor is in yours? i have good luck with my 3.8 so far
the wagons youve gotta really prebend them to get them to go up. stock these cars are pretty good but if u take the time to do a lil work in the right places i think these cars will beat most compacts out there. JMO

I don't know what engine is in mine but it will be built to last for sure. Are 4.11 or 4.88 9 inch gears too much?

I have 4.56 for my foxbodies. They are just right for my 200 straight 6 cyl & auto. When I use my stock 2.3 with auto, I wish they were just a bit steeper. I haven't had the chance to use them behind a manual transmission yet.

Make sure u have a good bumper on them it goes along way another way to help the front if you take the shock out and weld to the side get some thick walled pipe the same size as the shock and slide it where the shock was it will slide all the way to the tower if done right no one will ever no it wasn't suppose to be there

How good are the 6-cylinders in these cars? Any tips or just pull it. If not good, are chevette motors better in these?
