Welding up the front so the axles are straight will work for a while...but that's not gonna help all that much. My husband hit ALL NIGHT with the front of his and it did finally drop...but after he had done enough damage to win...the third win on that car. The tranny's are fine if you can run a cooler with a fan and some Lucas. After we starting running the cooler...haven't lost a tranny since.

I built a wagon once I pre-bent the rear and a roof and no rear bumper. It did ok but was kind of soft. Can you sedagon it? I think that would work really good. A crown vic bumper would work well on the front nothing to hard because I have seen the noses drop on these before.

some basic tips
-notch,kink and pre bend rear end, move computer from front driver side fender, change front bumper shocks to 2"x 1/4" thick square tubing,or weld them up. run tranny coolers and put lucas in er.
they are very strong cars in the front when front shocks are changed!
my 93 acclaim, got 2nd in compact feature, got pinned on blocks and 1st place winner died, sadly the 2.5 didnt have enough power to push the cavy out of the way.

all i did on mine was move computer, tank and battery. wired everything closed. tuck truck and prebend up. the car i got 4th in had a blown head gasket and never skipped a beat.
would put a good fullsize bumper on it if you can.

It was my cousins first car when he was 14. That was after the fifth run I believe. Still ran and drove. Just to used up.
