Menard County Fair Derby - Petersburg, IL - 07/20/12 @ 7:30 P.M. - **PURSES INCREASED**

The annual Menard County Fair Derby in Petersburg, IL will be held on 7/20/12 at 7:30 P.M. Classes/Purses as follows:



Modified- Total Purse - $2,300

1st-$1,400

2nd-$600

3rd-$300

If the total entries in the class are less than 15, the total then the purse will be reduced to $1,500 and places will be determined at driver's meeting.

Stock- Total Purse - $950

1st- $600

2nd-$300

3rd- $50

If the total entries in the class are less than 7, the total purse will be reduced $600 and places will be determined at driver's meeting.

Compact- Total Purse - $750

1st- $500

2nd-$200

3rd- $50

If the total entries in the class are less than 7, the total purse will be reduced to $500 and places will be determined at driver's meeting.

Mini-Vans - Purse will be a jackpot of all entry fees- If a large number of entries are received in the class, places may be paid.

There was a slight misprint in the rules regarding the demolition derby. Balance protectors are allowed but ONLY if the swaybars are disconnected or removed. Balance protectors can in no way reinforce the frame! Also, there is a contradiction regarding leaf springs. You are allowed 9 due to certain models having this from the factory, if somewhere in the rules states 6, the correct number should be 9. All leaf spring rules must be followed, so please read the rules carefully. Any questions regarding this should be directed to Asst.
