is this derby still as much of a cake walk when darryl (714) won it back to back to back for forever about 5 or 6 years ago?

I talked to Lynn yesterday and he said its on 7-21-12 I didnt go over the rules but thats the date

^^ not sure anymore. I haven't been in a few years. I don't like not being able to weld my bumpers. Plus there are two other better shows (IMO) that are ran normally the same day. Lebanon and Franklin.

If they would let you weld bumpers on and acutally inspect cars a little better this would be a good derby, but until that happens I wont run it anymore. Used to run it every year

This is what you can do.. weld doors,trunk,cage. Change body mount bolts. This is what you cant do... no hump plates, no welding on bumpers or shocks(must be bolted only). No mud tires(must run a passenger car straight tread tire) This is what isn't in or out of rules.... cradles,dp,gas tank protectors,kickers,rear end protectors,sliders,suspinsion,window bars to trunk. I am in no way a part of this show...just know people who run here for last few years. Its pretty much a joke what a guy could get by with here..  |

Yes true but he has been retired for some time now... I was just asking to see if the rules are anything now like they was then if so this show is a waste of time I M O |
