2.3 wiring diagram

i have heard you can get a 2.5 starter off the newer 2.5s and have the solinoid on the starter is this correct
if i get a hei dist. for a 2.3 i can just wire it up like a sbc right?
that is correct the hei is a 1 wire system so you only need a 12v power source in most caes its the easiest way to do an ignition but alot of the time finding a 2.3l hei is more head ache then worth.
