LARUE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
Hodgenville, KY
AUGUST 3, 2012 (TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON)
PROMOTOR: JAMIE WOODCOCK
This show will have the same rules Jamie used last year for the Hart & Hardin Derbies. If any changes I will post them when I'm told of them.

RULES & REGULATIONS:
1. Each driver must fill out tech card
2. Each driver must be legal age (18) or have release signed by parent / guardian
3. Officials have right to approve or reject all entries.
4. Any complaints are to be mentioned at drivers meeting.
5. Officials decisions are final. No exceptions.
6. Foul language & fighting of drivers & pit crew will result in disqualification from all prizes.
TYPE OF CAR:
ANY YEAR make of sedans & wagons
PREPERATION OF CAR:
Cars must be inspected by 6:30 PM Central Time (7:30 PM Eastern Time)
1. All glass including all windows, mirrors, headlights, & taillights must be removed.
2. Car must be completely stripped out interior & all chrome moldings, original gas tanks must be removed.
3. No changing of suspension examples: coil spring cars must remain colts.
4. Maximum height 22 inches (cars do not have to bounce)
5. Any type of tires can be used no bigger than 16 inches
6. Any type of drive shafts are allowed
7. Cages: can run 4 point cage meaning cross dash area, behind set, and down doors, can run legs from cage down to top of frame, can run roll over bar straight or slanted.
8. Can weld bumpers-bumper shocks & brackets to frame also can reinforce bumpers but must remain stock looking.
9. Can change body bolts but must have 1/2 inch spacer between frame and body (can run 1 inch all thread in front through core support and hood 3/4 inch or smaller bolts through the rest)
10. can change pinion angle - upper or lower control arms
11. DO NOT ADD ANY METAL TO FRAME ANYWHERE unless car has already been ran and has bent you can weld a 4 inch square plate 1/4 inch thick where it is bent 4 plates only on ENTIRE car. Can weld seams on top of frame from A arms to front bumper.
12. All doors & trunks or tailgates can be welded solid (must have hole in trunk lid 12 inches)
13. If you car is suspecious the frame or body will be drilled with a small drill bit
14. Can change bumpers, rear ends and do motor swaps are allowed to run engine craddles.
15. Batteries and gas tanks must be moved to a safe spot, no more than a 6 gallon gas tank.
16. Can pitch front framerails.
17. Can run gas tank protector but can not be welded to sheet metal at back
18. Can also run distributor protectors.
19. Can run 3 straps from core support to bumper
20. Can run a kicker from front bar to distributor protector can not be welded at protector or run all the way back to back bar (can run a center bar from front bar to back bar but not in line with kicker this bar can be no bigger than 1 1/2 inch in diameter)
21. If car don't have factory gussets at crush box you can add one but no more than 12 inches long
22. You are allowed to run hump plates 1/4 inch by 22 inch MUST run CONTOUR with frame
23. Can stuff or tuck trunk lids but quarter panels MUST remain in stock position
RUNNING
1. Each driver must wear seatbelt & helmet and safety glasses.
2. Hitting in drivers door will result in disqualification.
3. No drinking or drugs allowed on grounds.
4. If car catches on fire 2 times, you are disqualified
5. No sandbagging (also no holding or pining in corners or against the logs)
6. Each driver is responsible for his or her pit crew. All kids must be under adult supervision at all times.
SMALL CAR RULES
1. 105 inch wheel base or less
2. 4 or 6 cyl allowed
3. any car bumper allowed
4. you may weld or wire doors shut
5. a 4 bar cage is allowed with roll over bar welded to sheet metal only
6. you may wire or bolt hoods and trunks down in 6 places
7. no welding of uni-body
8. no 4 wheel drives
9. gas tanks must be securely mounted to floor if electric fuel pump must have shut off.
10. can run gas tank and distributor protector.
