Weld Class
Any year car allowed. NO Imperials or Imperial sub frames, Jeeps, Ambulances, Hearse, etc.
60s Lincolns will be drilled and scoped
All cars must have a minimum 15inx15in roof sign
All drivers must be 18yrs or older with a valid drivers license to compete. However, 16 and 17yrs may compete but the parents must sign off.
No painting, oiling or undercoating of frames.
Drivers must have working seat belt
Drivers must wear helmet and seat belt at all times.
Long sleeve shirts are recommended
Do not leave vehicle unless told by an official.
No hot rodding in the pits.
If your car catches fire, you will be allowed to restart. 2nd fire will disqualify you for that heat. You may return for consolation if the problem is fixed.
Must make an aggressive hit every 60 seconds.
Sandbagging will NOT be tolerated and can be punishable by disqualification.
Team driving will not be tolerated and can be punishable by disqualification.
No intentional drivers door hits. Discretion by official. Do not use driver door as a blocker.
NO use of drugs or alcohol in the pits. Anyone caught consuming or in possession of alcohol in the pits will be asked to leave.
Protest fee is $100.00. All protests must be done before the start of event. You may not protest the entire car, but 1 specific thing in which you feel to be illegal on someone elses car.
All glass, carpet, plastic, etc. must be removed from car, including all flammable material.
Rear seats and wagon decking must be removed.
Everyone will be given 1 chance after first inspection to make the necessary modifications to pass inspection.
There is a non-refundable entry due to failure or refusal to pass inspection
If your car is deemed unsafe or built too far beyond regulations to remedy, your entry will be forfeited and you will not run
DO NOT bring an overbuilt car expecting to get in. It will be cut or you wont run. Plain and simple. Build to the rules and everyone will be happy.
Judges decision on builds is final
ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONS
Any engine may be used in any car.
May not extend further than 6 inches from original engine.
You may chain engine in 1 spot on each corner of the engine with 3/8 chain or less. You may weld 1 link per strand of chain to the frame.
No engine oil coolers allowed
Any tranny may be used.
Tranny coolers may be used but must be secure in the passenger compartment. Also, must use metal or braided rubber lines. Judges discretion.
You may run distributor protectors, cradles, and tranny protectors.
Distributor protectors may not extend any further than water pump and may be no wider than 12in around the distributor. All other components must be inside headers. They may not be welded, bolted, or connected in any way to the body, hood, cage, or frame
Cradles may not reinforce or connect to the frame or body in any way except engine mount
Cross member must not be any bigger than3inx3in
REARENDS AND WATTS LINK CONVERSION
Any rearend may be used in any car. 8 lug rears allowed.
Rear-end may be braced but must not reinforce frame or body in any way.
May be tilted.
You may shorten or extend upper and lower trailing arms.
You may use factory or homemade trailing arms, but must mount to the frame in factory location and position. Must not strengthen frame in any way.
No solid mount brackets.
Brackets must pivot.
To convert a watts link rear, you may use any homemade upper bracket no thicker than 1/4in and no wider than 4inx8in , or use the factory upper brackets off an older ford. Must only be bolted to the package tray and not welded. Lower control arm mount may be no bigger than 4inx4in.
You may weld in a package tray out of an older Ford. Single pass no more than 1/4in wide.
Neither method should reinforce the body or frame in any way.
SUSPENSION
Suspension must be factory style for that car.
Coil springs may be swapped.
Rear coil springs may be replaced or doubled.
No coil to leaf conversions.
All 80 & newer body style cars may use humplates. No thicker than 1/4in, no wider than 4in and no longer than 22in. Must be centered and must follow the contour of the frame.
No air shocks allowed
All thread shocks or solid shocks allowed in the rear only. Not the front.
You may weld, bolt, or chain your a arms down
You can do 1 NOT all 3.
All welds, chains or bolts must be in the middle of the arm.
Weld strap may be no wider than 2 inches and must be welded to spring bucket.
Chain may be no bigger than 3/8in. 1 chain per side.
Bolts may be no bigger than 3/4in. 1 bolt per side, with no bigger than a 4in washer.
Reinforced and after market tie rods allowed but must use factory ends.
After market steering column are allowed.
LEAF SPRINGS
9 leaf maximum. 5/16in thick, 2.5in wide MAX.
60in max length.
5 clamps per side. clamps 2in wide x 1/4in thick. And must go around leafs only.
3in stagger.
No welding springs.
No bigger than 1/2in U-bolts will be allowed. U-bolts can be bolted to leafs and rear end only.
HOODS
Hoods may be chained, wired or bolted.
If chaining or wiring, you may use 3/8 chain or wire in 6 locations.
All locations must be outside or radiator.
If bolting, you may use up to 6 bolts. All but 2 must be sheet metal to sheet metal. The front 2 bolts may be 1in and can run through core support mount. All other hood bolts must be 1in or smaller.
You must have a 12in hole in the hood minimum.
Cutouts may not be welded.
You may use up to 25 3/8 bolts or less to bolt cutouts and hood webbing together.
TRUNK LIDS
Trunk lids may be welded solid with 3inx1/4in strap or they may be chained with 3/8 or smaller chain or 9 wire in 6 locations.
Must have a minimum of a 12in x12in hole in trunk lid for inspection
Trunk lids must remain 50percent in stock location.
In addition to welding, chaining or wiring you may also have up to 4 3/4in all thread to bolt lid down.
Unibody cars may run allthread anywhere through the unibody from the bottom of the hump-back , or weld to the side of the unibody. Full frame cars must run all thread through body mount hole or weld allthread to side of the frame.
You may wedge, tuck, or v your trunk lid
NO SEDAGONS
BODY
Body creasing is allowed. Do not double over the metal. Do not weld creased metal.
You may use 2 loops of 9 wire per window opening.
It is MANDATORY that you have a strap, bar or chain from the roof to the cowl, using no bigger than 3/8 chain, 3inch wide strap, or 2in square bar. Must not attach to DP or any other engine component.
Rear window bars are allowed using no bigger than 4in material. Must only go from roof to the speaker deck/package tray. May not go any farther back than the front trunk seam.
You may cut your speaker deck out.
Core support seams may be welded.
All wheel openings may have up to 5 3/8in bolts to bolt fender skins together.
DOORS
Doors may be welded solid. Door strap may be no larger than 3in wide x 1/4in thick
Tops of the doors may be folded over and welded.
If you dont weld your doors, you must at least chain or 9 wire in 4 spots per door.
BODY BOLTS
You may use up to 3/4 all thread for body bolts.
Body may be sucked tight to frame.
Body bolts may run through the frame
80s mopars may weld firewall mount solid.
You may add 2 body mounts anywhere you want, but if you bolt your coil springs through the package tray, they will count as your 2 extra mounts.
Front body mount bolt may run through core support and up through the hood. You may use up to 2in tubing to run all thread through.
All body bolt washers must be no bigger than 5inx1/4in thick.
DO NOT RE-LOCATE CORE SUPPORT BODYMOUNT BRACKET TO ACCOMMODATE RUNNING ALLTHREAD THROUGH CORE SUPPORT.
CAGES
All cars must have a minimum of 4 bars for their cage.
All cage components may be no larger than 6in material.
You may run a backseat bar. May not be farther than 6in behind the seat.
Dash bar must be a minimum of 5in off the floor and 4in from center of cowl.
You must connect those 2 bars. Door bars must not exceed 60in long.
You may have 4 down bars. They may be welded to frame. They may not attach to or conceal a body mount. Must be at least 3in from crush box/firewall mount area and no farther back than back seat body bolt.
You may run a gas tank protector. No wider than 24in and must be at least 1in from package tray. Do not attach to anything other than backseat bar.
Halo bars are allowed
Halo bars may be bolted to roof in 2 spots.
They must be vertical and not angled in any direction.
The halo may be welded OR bolted to floor sheet metal or it may attach to the backseat bar.
FRAMES
You may weld top frame seam from firewall forward. 1/2in bead max.
All factory holes must be open. Do NOT weld factory holes shut
No painting, greasing or stuffing frames
No pinning of the frames. Front or back.
No shortening rear frame rails. You may shorten front rails to mount bumper, but you may only shorten up to the core support mount bracket.
Buick, Olds and Pontiac may fill in the hole behind rad support must be butt fit only with the same thickness metal as frame. Single pass weld only
You may notch the frame to pre bend, but do not weld the notch.
You may loop chain or 9wire rear frames behind rear end in 1 spot. 3/8 chain or smaller. Do not weld either of these to the frame. Do not weld links
BUMPERS
Any car bumper may be used on any car.
Any shock tube, bumper bracket may be used on any car.
If you dont use bumper brackets, you may weld bumper to end of frame.
All bumpers may be reinforced, but all reinforcing must be done on the inside of the bumper. No added metal to the outside. Must appear stock. Seams may be welded. NO HOMEMADE POINTY BUMPERS. IT WILL NOT RUN.
Shock tubes may be drained and welded solid.
Brackets may be welded to frame.
No rear brackets allowed on front.
No bracket may be bolted or welded further back than 6infrom center of core support bolt
You may use 1 3inx6inx 1/4in strap per frame rail from bumper to frame to help keep bumper on. Do not angle this piece to be a kicker.
The rear bumper can also use 1 strap per frame rail no wider than 3in to attach to the trunk lid OR to the frame. Not both. 4in of strap allowed on trunk lid or frame and 4in on the bumper
Front and Rear bumper height will be measured. 14in minimum at the bottom of the frame in the back and 22in maximum at the bottom of the bumper in the back
Bumpers may be flipped upside down.
TIRES/BATTERIES/FUEL/RADIATOR & RADIATOR SUPPORT
No tire taller than 30in
No split rims or studded tires.
Other than that, no restrictions.
Maximum of 2 batteries.
All batteries must be secured inside passenger compartment and covered.
NO PLASTIC TANKS. If you have a plastic tank, you WILL NOT RUN. Must use a metal tank or racing fuel cell only. MUST be bolted to floor or gas tank protector. NO EXCEPTIONS. No bungee cords to tie gas tank down
No capacity restriction, but tank must not be any wider than gas tank protector. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Original tanks must be removed.
All fuel lines must be double clamped, covered, ran and secured inside passenger compartment.
NO LOOSE LINES.
Tank must be secured behind driver and covered.
RUST PATCH AND PRE-RAN CARS
Pre-ran cars may patch the frame. You will be allowed 4, 4inx6inx1/4in plates per frame rail. Patches must have an inch gap between plates. . The bent area must be visible to inspectors. Do not plate fresh frames unless there is a rust through issue. Each frame rust repair will be counted as 1 of your 4 total plates per rail if it is a preran
When patching body rust, you must leave damaged area there, fresh metal, same thickness as body, may be laid over rusted area and welded 2in on, 2in off and inspectors must be able to see the damaged area.
It patching a rusty frame, same rules apply as if it were bent.
Frame must have rust completely through frame to patch. Do not cut out rust area. It must be visible for inspection
80+ Cars
You may pitch any 80ss car by either cold bending, pitching at cross member or you may cut the tabs at the crushbox.
If you pitch at the cross member or coldbend, you will not be allowed to weld crushbox seams.
Do not add any extra metal when pitching.
If you cold bend behind the boxes or tilt at the cross member, spacers at the firewall must be 2 separate spacers. One per each bolt with a 1inch gap in-between each other.
03+ frames will be allowed, but only with the following restrictions –
1) No bolt-in cradles. GM or like
2) No Mopar cradles or torsion bars
3) Cradle must be from earlier model Ford, Lincoln, Mercury only. Do not plate cradle
4) All components can be welded in with a SINGLE PASS NO BIGGER THAN FACTORY WELD. It it is determined by the judges to be in excess, it will be cut or you will not run. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
5) Core support mount must be in stock location.
6) 4 holes on top of the frame right behind core support must be open and visible. Do not fill in or weld over the holes. Frame will be scoped there.
7) Do not pin the frame anywhere, including between the 2 crushbox body bolts. The hole in between the 2 bolts my not be used as your extra body bolt. It must be open.
8) Coil spring bucket may be no wider than a arm.
Radiator and radiator support must be in factory stock location. Do not move support mount.
OEM radiators only. No added cooling capacities or homemade radiators.

9Wire Rules

A. Body
1) Remove all glass, pot metal, plastics, carpet, etc. Remove all decking in wagons. All vehicles must by swept clean of all glass, nuts, bolts, etc.
2) Body must remain completely stock. No creasing or shaping body sheet metal.
3) Hood and deck lid must be 100percent in stock location for inspection. Do not move hood or trunk forward. Hood and trunk must be open for inspection. You can tuck trunk lid after inspection only.
4) Body mounts and spacers must be original and remain stock in stock location. No adding body mounts. If body bolt is broke, you may replace with a single strand of 9 wire. DO NOT CHANGE BODY BOLTS. Core support mount must remain in stock location. You may use up to 3/4 all thread to replace core support bolt and it may be ran through the hood. No welding on allthread. Do not run allthread through any pipe, tubing, etc. Must be by itself and not covered with anything.
5) Core support may be sucked tight to frame
6) You may fasten hoods, trunks, and tailgates in 4 places. 2 strands of 9 wire or 1 loop of chain per spot. Drivers door is the only door that may be welded solid. No wider than 3inx1/8in thick. Do not weld trunk. Unlimited wire on doors but must have a minimum of 4 spots per door. You may wire 2 loops of wire or 1 loop of chain in 2 spots per door window opening to the frame.
7) The only body rust that may be patched is drivers seat or where battery is located. Metal may be no thicker than the floor sheet metal. Do not weld patches. Must be bolted in with no larger than 3/8 bolts. Do not cut rusted area out. Rusted area must be visible.
B. Frames
1) No weld on frames ANYWHERE except for bumper and motor rule.
2) No suspension modification allowed. Suspension must remain stock.
3) You may notch rear frame rails. Do not weld the notch. No adding metal.
4) No frame patching
C. Drive train
1) Any m/t in any car but must be Ford-Ford, GM-GM, Chrysler-Chrysler.
2) Any 5 lug rear in any car. You may weld for posi.If replacing or swapping the rearend, you must use factory original brackets and upper/lower control arms for that make and model. No shortening or lengthening them. You must use factory size bolts.
3) Only the lower stock engine mounts may be welded or chained.
D. Cage and Drivers Compartment
1) 4 point floating cage only. Must be welded to sheet metal only. No kickers, no down tubes.
2) Halo bar allowed but must be fastened to the back seat bar and nothing else.
3) Back seat bar must be within 6in of the back of drivers seat. Door bars must be no longer than 60in.
4) Gas tank protectors allowed but
A) Must be free floating off of back seat bar
B) May not be any wider or longer than 2in past the sides of your tank.
C) In no way will it be any closer than 4in from package tray.
5) No larger than 7.5 gal capacity gas tanks
6) NO PLASTIC TANKS. If you have a plastic tank, you WILL NOT RUN. Must use a metal tank or fuel cell only.
7) Battery must be moved and secured with a cover to the passenger front floor board.
8) No after market engine oil coolers.
9) Trans coolers allowed. Or you may loop lines or run them to radiator. Trans cooler mount must not reinforce floor pan in any manner.
10) OEM radiators only. No added cooling capacities or homemade radiators.
E. Bumpers
1) Any bumper may be used on any car. But must use factory bracket and shock for that car. No swapping bumper brackets front to back.
2) When welding your bumper and brackets, dontt weld any farther than center of core support mount. Single pass only.
3) Shocks may be collapsed and welded. Single pass only. All shocks and brackets must be in stock location only.
4) You may hardnose your bumper
5) Rear bumper can be mounted same as front, but no welding further than 4in from back of bumper.
6) No adding metal when mounting bumpers
7) You may chain or wire 1 piece from the mount to mount to hold bumper on.
8) NO REINFORCING BUMPERS IN ANY MANNER.
F. Tires, Batteries and Brakes
1) No tires taller than 30in
2) No split rims or studded tires
3) Must have working brakes.
4) No more than 2 batteries
G. Accessories
1) You may use after market gas pedals, floor shifters, headers, and slip shafts.
2) Must use factory column for that make and model, but rag joints may be replaced.
3) No other protectors. No engine cradles, or trans protectors.
4) Dist. Protector may be used but if used, fire wall must be cut out 2in wider than protector and all the way down to the top of the tranny.
H. Suspension
1) Must be stock and in stock/factory position
2) May use 4 loops of 9wire or 1 loop of 3/8 chain in 1 spot per framerail to wire rearend to the frame.

Truck class will only have full payout if we get 10 trucks or more. If less than 10 trucks, you will only be running for the total amount of entry fees
1) We will honor the rules in the area you run. YOU MUST BRING YOUR RULES.
2) Any pickup, suburban, wagoneer or the like will be allowed to run.
3) Exceptions....no matter what is in your rules
A. No fully plated frames
B. No doubled body panels
C. No kickers past 6in in front of firewall or farther thancenter of rear axle.

If bolting, you may use up to 6 bolts. All but 2 must be sheet metal to sheet metal. The front 2 bolts may be 1in and can run through core support mount. All other hood bolts must be 1in or smaller.
You must have a 12in hole in the hood minimum.
Cutouts may not be welded.
You may use up to 25 3/8 bolts or less to bolt cutouts and hood webbing together.
TRUNK LIDS
Trunk lids may be welded solid with 3inx1/4in strap or they may be chained with 3/8 or smaller chain or 9 wire in 6 locations.
Must have a minimum of a 12in x12in hole in trunk lid for inspection
Trunk lids must remain 50percent in stock location.
In addition to welding, chaining or wiring you may also have up to 4 3/4in all thread to bolt lid down.
Unibody cars may run allthread anywhere through the unibody from the bottom of the hump-back , or weld to the side of the unibody. Full frame cars must run all thread through body mount hole or weld allthread to side of the frame.
You may wedge, tuck, or v your trunk lid
NO SEDAGONS
BODY
Body creasing is allowed. Do not double over the metal. Do not weld creased metal.
You may use 2 loops of 9 wire per window opening.
It is MANDATORY that you have a strap, bar or chain from the roof to the cowl, using no bigger than 3/8 chain, 3inch wide strap, or 2in square bar. Must not attach to DP or any other engine component.
Rear window bars are allowed using no bigger than 4in material. Must only go from roof to the speaker deck/package tray. May not go any farther back than the front trunk seam.
You may cut your speaker deck out.
Core support seams may be welded.
All wheel openings may have up to 5 3/8in bolts to bolt fender skins together.
DOORS
Doors may be welded solid. Door strap may be no larger than 3in wide x 1/4in thick
Tops of the doors may be folded over and welded.
If you dont weld your doors, you must at least chain or 9 wire in 4 spots per door.
BODY BOLTS
You may use up to 3/4 all thread for body bolts.
Body may be sucked tight to frame.
Body bolts may run through the frame
80s mopars may weld firewall mount solid.
You may add 2 body mounts anywhere you want, but if you bolt your coil springs through the package tray, they will count as your 2 extra mounts.
Front body mount bolt may run through core support and up through the hood. You may use up to 2in tubing to run all thread through.
All body bolt washers must be no bigger than 5inx1/4in thick.
DO NOT RE-LOCATE CORE SUPPORT BODYMOUNT BRACKET TO ACCOMMODATE RUNNING ALLTHREAD THROUGH CORE SUPPORT.
CAGES
All cars must have a minimum of 4 bars for their cage.
All cage components may be no larger than 6in material.
You may run a backseat bar. May not be farther than 6in behind the seat.
Dash bar must be a minimum of 5in off the floor and 4in from center of cowl.
You must connect those 2 bars. Door bars must not exceed 60in long.
You may have 4 down bars. They may be welded to frame. They may not attach to or conceal a body mount. Must be at least 3in from crush box/firewall mount area and no farther back than back seat body bolt.
You may run a gas tank protector. No wider than 24in and must be at least 1in from package tray. Do not attach to anything other than backseat bar.
Halo bars are allowed
Halo bars may be bolted to roof in 2 spots.
They must be vertical and not angled in any direction.
The halo may be welded OR bolted to floor sheet metal or it may attach to the backseat bar.
FRAMES
You may weld top frame seam from firewall forward. 1/2in bead max.
All factory holes must be open. Do NOT weld factory holes shut
No painting, greasing or stuffing frames
No pinning of the frames. Front or back.
No shortening rear frame rails. You may shorten front rails to mount bumper, but you may only shorten up to the core support mount bracket.
Buick, Olds and Pontiac may fill in the hole behind rad support must be butt fit only with the same thickness metal as frame. Single pass weld only
You may notch the frame to pre bend, but do not weld the notch.
You may loop chain or 9wire rear frames behind rear end in 1 spot. 3/8 chain or smaller. Do not weld either of these to the frame. Do not weld links
BUMPERS
Any car bumper may be used on any car.
Any shock tube, bumper bracket may be used on any car.
If you dont use bumper brackets, you may weld bumper to end of frame.
All bumpers may be reinforced, but all reinforcing must be done on the inside of the bumper. No added metal to the outside. Must appear stock. Seams may be welded. NO HOMEMADE POINTY BUMPERS. IT WILL NOT RUN.
Shock tubes may be drained and welded solid.
Brackets may be welded to frame.
No rear brackets allowed on front.
No bracket may be bolted or welded further back than 6infrom center of core support bolt
You may use 1 3inx6inx 1/4in strap per frame rail from bumper to frame to help keep bumper on. Do not angle this piece to be a kicker.
The rear bumper can also use 1 strap per frame rail no wider than 3in to attach to the trunk lid OR to the frame. Not both. 4in of strap allowed on trunk lid or frame and 4in on the bumper
Front and Rear bumper height will be measured. 14in minimum at the bottom of the frame in the back and 22in maximum at the bottom of the bumper in the back
Bumpers may be flipped upside down.
TIRES/BATTERIES/FUEL/RADIATOR & RADIATOR SUPPORT
No tire taller than 30in
No split rims or studded tires.
Other than that, no restrictions.
Maximum of 2 batteries.
All batteries must be secured inside passenger compartment and covered.
NO PLASTIC TANKS. If you have a plastic tank, you WILL NOT RUN. Must use a metal tank or racing fuel cell only. MUST be bolted to floor or gas tank protector. NO EXCEPTIONS. No bungee cords to tie gas tank down
No capacity restriction, but tank must not be any wider than gas tank protector. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Original tanks must be removed.
All fuel lines must be double clamped, covered, ran and secured inside passenger compartment.
NO LOOSE LINES.
Tank must be secured behind driver and covered.
RUST PATCH AND PRE-RAN CARS
Pre-ran cars may patch the frame. You will be allowed 4, 4inx6inx1/4in plates per frame rail. Patches must have an inch gap between plates. . The bent area must be visible to inspectors. Do not plate fresh frames unless there is a rust through issue. Each frame rust repair will be counted as 1 of your 4 total plates per rail if it is a preran
When patching body rust, you must leave damaged area there, fresh metal, same thickness as body, may be laid over rusted area and welded 2in on, 2in off and inspectors must be able to see the damaged area.
It patching a rusty frame, same rules apply as if it were bent.
Frame must have rust completely through frame to patch. Do not cut out rust area. It must be visible for inspection
80+ Cars
You may pitch any 80ss car by either cold bending, pitching at cross member or you may cut the tabs at the crushbox.
If you pitch at the cross member or coldbend, you will not be allowed to weld crushbox seams.
Do not add any extra metal when pitching.
If you cold bend behind the boxes or tilt at the cross member, spacers at the firewall must be 2 separate spacers. One per each bolt with a 1inch gap in-between each other.
03+ frames will be allowed, but only with the following restrictions –
1) No bolt-in cradles. GM or like
2) No Mopar cradles or torsion bars
3) Cradle must be from earlier model Ford, Lincoln, Mercury only. Do not plate cradle
4) All components can be welded in with a SINGLE PASS NO BIGGER THAN FACTORY WELD. It it is determined by the judges to be in excess, it will be cut or you will not run. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
5) Core support mount must be in stock location.
6) 4 holes on top of the frame right behind core support must be open and visible. Do not fill in or weld over the holes. Frame will be scoped there.
7) Do not pin the frame anywhere, including between the 2 crushbox body bolts. The hole in between the 2 bolts my not be used as your extra body bolt. It must be open.
8) Coil spring bucket may be no wider than a arm.
Radiator and radiator support must be in factory stock location. Do not move support mount.
OEM radiators only. No added cooling capacities or homemade radiators.

9Wire Rules
Any year car, no Imperials, Ambulances, Hearse, Jeeps, etc.
60s Lincolns will be drilled and scoped
All vehicles must have a roof sign.
3/8in chain can be used instead of 9wire
A. Body
1) Remove all glass, pot metal, plastics, carpet, etc. Remove all decking in wagons. All vehicles must by swept clean of all glass, nuts, bolts, etc.
2) Body must remain completely stock. No creasing or shaping body sheet metal.
3) Hood and deck lid must be 100percent in stock location for inspection. Do not move hood or trunk forward. Hood and trunk must be open for inspection. You can tuck trunk lid after inspection only.
4) Body mounts and spacers must be original and remain stock in stock location. No adding body mounts. If body bolt is broke, you may replace with a single strand of 9 wire. DO NOT CHANGE BODY BOLTS. Core support mount must remain in stock location. You may use up to 3/4 all thread to replace core support bolt and it may be ran through the hood. No welding on allthread. Do not run allthread through any pipe, tubing, etc. Must be by itself and not covered with anything.
5) Core support may be sucked tight to frame
6) You may fasten hoods, trunks, and tailgates in 4 places. 2 strands of 9 wire or 1 loop of chain per spot. Drivers door is the only door that may be welded solid. No wider than 3inx1/8in thick. Do not weld trunk. Unlimited wire on doors but must have a minimum of 4 spots per door. You may wire 2 loops of wire or 1 loop of chain in 2 spots per door window opening to the frame.
7) The only body rust that may be patched is drivers seat or where battery is located. Metal may be no thicker than the floor sheet metal. Do not weld patches. Must be bolted in with no larger than 3/8 bolts. Do not cut rusted area out. Rusted area must be visible.
B. Frames
1) No weld on frames ANYWHERE except for bumper and motor rule.
2) No suspension modification allowed. Suspension must remain stock.
3) You may notch rear frame rails. Do not weld the notch. No adding metal.
4) No frame patching
C. Drive train
1) Any m/t in any car but must be Ford-Ford, GM-GM, Chrysler-Chrysler.
2) Any 5 lug rear in any car. You may weld for posi.If replacing or swapping the rearend, you must use factory original brackets and upper/lower control arms for that make and model. No shortening or lengthening them. You must use factory size bolts.
3) Only the lower stock engine mounts may be welded or chained.
D. Cage and Drivers Compartment
1) 4 point floating cage only. Must be welded to sheet metal only. No kickers, no down tubes.
2) Halo bar allowed but must be fastened to the back seat bar and nothing else.
3) Back seat bar must be within 6in of the back of drivers seat. Door bars must be no longer than 60in.
4) Gas tank protectors allowed but
A) Must be free floating off of back seat bar
B) May not be any wider or longer than 2in past the sides of your tank.
C) In no way will it be any closer than 4in from package tray.
5) No larger than 7.5 gal capacity gas tanks
6) NO PLASTIC TANKS. If you have a plastic tank, you WILL NOT RUN. Must use a metal tank or fuel cell only.
7) Battery must be moved and secured with a cover to the passenger front floor board.
8) No after market engine oil coolers.
9) Trans coolers allowed. Or you may loop lines or run them to radiator. Trans cooler mount must not reinforce floor pan in any manner.
10) OEM radiators only. No added cooling capacities or homemade radiators.
E. Bumpers
1) Any bumper may be used on any car. But must use factory bracket and shock for that car. No swapping bumper brackets front to back.
2) When welding your bumper and brackets, dontt weld any farther than center of core support mount. Single pass only.
3) Shocks may be collapsed and welded. Single pass only. All shocks and brackets must be in stock location only.
4) You may hardnose your bumper
5) Rear bumper can be mounted same as front, but no welding further than 4in from back of bumper.
6) No adding metal when mounting bumpers
7) You may chain or wire 1 piece from the mount to mount to hold bumper on.
8) NO REINFORCING BUMPERS IN ANY MANNER.
F. Tires, Batteries and Brakes
1) No tires taller than 30in
2) No split rims or studded tires
3) Must have working brakes.
4) No more than 2 batteries
G. Accessories
1) You may use after market gas pedals, floor shifters, headers, and slip shafts.
2) Must use factory column for that make and model, but rag joints may be replaced.
3) No other protectors. No engine cradles, or trans protectors.
4) Dist. Protector may be used but if used, fire wall must be cut out 2in wider than protector and all the way down to the top of the tranny.
H. Suspension
1) Must be stock and in stock/factory position
2) May use 4 loops of 9wire or 1 loop of 3/8 chain in 1 spot per framerail to wire rearend to the frame.
