I have a 14 bolt corporate and am unsure about what gears to use on it. It comes stock with 4.10s. The transmissions I use are 350s and 700r4s and run 7.00-15-7.50-16 inch tires. Tracks I run on are smaller and muddy at times. Engines are basically stock intakes replaced and diifferent carbs are places is about it. I would be using this rear end for my promod 4 ton crown vic and 80s and newer gms and fords. What gear ratio would be best? My thoughts have been 4.88-5.38? ?

4 ton vic =)
ive always used 'whatever it came with'.....which is pretty much a 3.73 then add new brakes, hardware etc and inevitably one side has a bad wheel seal.... got one under a car thats been around 10-12 years.....tubes are noticably f'd up bent/crooked and it still works....in it's stock form forget all the fancy rear end talk....these rears are built for derbying the way they are....and if they are 'illegal' at a derby then thats just plain (let me be politically correct) corky from life goes on
