I have a 355 sbc im building and I want to buy a new carb for it, and not wanting to spend over $400. Im looking at 3 different ones hopefully someone can tell me which would be better out of the 3. Holley 2bbl 500, holley 4bbl 750w/vbowl model 4160, or a 650 double pumper model 4150. According to comp camps dyno itd do better with the 750 but who's to say that, that particular carb was any good for derby purposes. Any helpful advice or alternative carb options please let me know.

I'd go with the 2bbl holley or a 2bbl rochester.

holley 4412 carb or a variation of that, quick fuel has a line of 4412's out now that are pretty impressive.

to much carb can be your worst enemy on a demo engine i run a 600 with the float level turned down a tick but its hard to beat a 2brl
