Glad I didn't take a car, Randy swarzkopf's car was built by toast and inspected by toast, not fair even if it was legal, several dash bars a lot closer than 5" including the winning car, stuff on lemangers car that was allowed on Friday but he was told to cut on Saturday and what looked like bondo hiding something on quarter panel, and I believe the rules say same year frame as body but seems like every DI show has a couple box body's on 98-02 frames, seems like the inspections are going south, that's my side of the story whether u like it or not OK Really? Let's see first off I brought Adam's car up for inspection on Saturday because he was busy trying to help Team 34 put there cars back together. So I can tell you that what you are saying is a total LIE. Adam did not have to cut a single thing on Saturday when I brought his car through inspection. The two places that were cut right under the roof line were cut the night before!! On both sides of the car it was rotted out and so we fixed it with no more of a 2x4 piece of sheet metal. DI inspectors did not like it so they had us cut it....... There was never any Bondo involved!!!!!!! SO THIS IS MY SIDE OF THE STORY WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT...... BUT WAIT IT IS THE TRUTH AND NOT A LIE TRYING TO MAKE OTHERS LOOK BAD. Brian Bruns We allow vic bodies on vic frames as long as the mounts line up... even lincoln bodies.. Have for several years. Nothing new there..

Jim the writing had been on the wall for years... DI is a sinking ship (kinda like the "New Wecrash"...lol) with the terrible payouts, no car count at all the shows, and no fans in the stands to keep funding the derbies... Get Out while you can...lol I appreciate sarcasm.... This is funny stuff!

Want to know why some companies don't strive for 100% customer satisfaction? Bc there will always that 1% of people who will never be happy and all the people who are complaining and making stuff up are part of that 1%. DI keep doing the good job and can't wait for MM!

Like to say thanks to everyone that helped me along the way this weekend! Big thanks to Gard Speed Shop, CBI Transmission, and Brian Nerat. Could not have got where I did without these guys badass products! Also like to thank Richie Hopkins(I would never make it to a show without his help), Sara (for putting up with all my time in the garage), Steve Pauley, Chris Schoenleben, Jeremy Gard, and the Kirkham gang(for all their help at the track)

QUESTION FOR DAVE GARD, AND NO, I AM NOT MAKING TROUBLE, JUST WANT A CLARIFICATION ON THE "BODY/FRAME" RULE. I WAS UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT BODIES MUST MATCH AS FAR AS YEAR AND MAKE/MODEL ? THATS WHAT THE D.I. RULES READ. I DO KNOW I ASKED THAT QUESTION 2 YEARS AGO WHEN I WANTED TO RUN A 74 IMPALA FRAME WITH A 72 IMPALA BODY ON IT AND WAS TOLD NO....

Dave, By Tory's nubers, the payout was $26,000 not over $30,000. And it wasn't just locals that dropped out. If you want to dog somebody about putting out misinformation, try putting out correct info yourself!!!! Add the $4000 paid to the team cars and whaddya know... $30,000 Team cars got paid for grudge heat and ran in feature? $4000 for team win, ran against 4 cars while everyone else runs against 18 or so?? Thats a sweat deal there!!

WOW just got recovered from the weekend. By far the best ever DI show yet. We spent 4 times as many hours in the truck getting to the show and back home then watching and was worth every minute. Tory Dave and DI group killer job 1st class all the way. Everyone from all over the states great seeing everyone. Bummer a couple people could not make it do to mother natures destruction and furnace problems hope all is well. Little bit of math we did on the way home over 250 beers went out the back of the truck last weekend and we intend to beat it at Spring X.

Add the $4000 paid to the team cars and whaddya know... $30,000 If you want people to believe what you say, you have to tell the whole truth all the time, not just when it's convienent! $4000 for the Grudge match, then all 4 cars into the feature? But this was not a team show, was it!
