First one i did almost done..dont have have finished pictures yet. have done a couple more since then. I personnely dont think id trust welding the uppers to the cast center section..jmo. And to any one else looking to build one i wouldnt make your uppers as tall as i did this one.

I traded for mine w/ the brackets already done. The guy used a 3" piece of c channel across the top to weld the top mounts to. Welded steel to the top of the tubes up to meet the channel going across the top. I'll try to get pics before to long.
Where did you guys get your yokes to bolt your driveshaft from?

going on 11 years now and never have in the past. This season will be the first. I swiched to a manual a few years back and the only reason i want them is to make it easier to catch reverse.

Didn't look close at what model all of the above are, but Dana 60 yokes are the same as 8.75 Mopar.

The yoke on mine i made, that was before Brian Nerat started making a single piece yoke for the 14 bolt floater. His number is 715-732-1719. Thats the best way to go...
The 14 bolt is different from the car rearends. The pinion shaft is much larger on the 14 bolt...
Tip #1 get the right yoke, dont just ram anything round on there. More than likely you will end up with a housing full of gear chuncks...
