Like the 1st post on this thread reads, we will run compacts if there is a min. of 5 compacts entried. This also applies to the powder puffs. Must have 5 to run.

EVERYBODY NEEDS TO READ THE RULES. I HAVE BEEN GETTING SEVERAL CALLS ABOUT THE CARS AND TRUCKS. IF YOU SHOW UP WITH AN ENTRY FOR THIS DERBY AND YOU HAVE COMPLETELY GONE OUTSIDE OF THE RULES WITH YOUR BUILD, YOU WONT GET A CHANCE TO CUT OR CHANGE IT. YOU WILL BE LOADED. THE RULES ARE THERE TO BUILD BY, NOT A STARTING POINT FOR YOU TO SEE WHAT YOU CAN GET BY WITH. IM TIRED OF THE ATTITUDE OF" WELL I WILL DO THIS ANYWAYS AND IF HE MAKES ME CHANGE IT FINE, OR MAYBE HE WONT FIND IT." ANY QUESTIONS CALL, DONT ASSUME!

how much for kids and if they can go to pits

Pit Passes are $20. It doesnt matter on age. The only thing age plays a factor on in the pits, is there will be an additional liability waiver for minors.

Usually the ones who complain about peoples cars are the cheaters so who ever the cry baby is you proly ought to spend alittle extra time on their car!!!!! Just my opinion

Nobody is calling anyone a cheater. No one has called and complained about anyones car. Im just tired of everybody pushing the limits when they know it wont get by. I guarantee somebody that has ran at B'port will show up with a cage that wont pass, have an extra plate some where, or have welding done on the frame or body that is outside the rules, and they will say,"I knew I would have to cut it, but I wanted to see if you would make me. That is getting old. Ive read Torys post on we-crash.proboards.com about Metal Mayhem and it makes sense. The post is under rule clarifications for M.M. There is alot of time used in going thru inspection. It doesnt need to be drawn out, by having to reinspect cars for things that have been done that are way out of the scope of the rules. I guess it boils down too, if your going to waste my time by building delibrately outside of the rules, its time I wasted your time by loading you up and sending you home.

remember some of us do not run your shows all the time. so when reading ur rules and showtime which uses the same rules and then we run your show and his. you read them one way and he reads them another. been down that road. and not just showtime. their are rules at every track that say the same but mean different in the inspection line. I am just saying before you go blow a gasket because a guy did something he should have lets see if he will fix it so we can have a good show. if he gives you poop. load him up. just my 2 cents

I understand what your saying squig. I try to be as fair as I can to everyone, but the repeat offenders that know better and just try to see what they can get by with, are the ones Im talking about. Who knows, maybe at this show there wont be any drama, I hope so. Thats why I sent a copy of the rules to all the team captains. That way there wont be any reason for someone to say they never saw the rules.
