It appears the buyout of Sam and Wade to the wecrash board of directors has happened. The crappy wecrash shuts down July 11th. Who is going to bow out and go back to proboards wecrash. I for one am not. I used to contribute quite regularly there but since all of this mess I only post to help my fellow local driver's out on our local shows. I guess we will see what happens.

Hello. ....I see. So, Tory owns wecrash again. I wonder, how long it may take to sell it once more. Probably not any time soon. I am not sure if it is a good thing wecrash was sold back or not. It really does not matter to me.

I AM grateful for this web site. I still feel this site had great impact on the other site. So be it, good or bad. Where would we be today if it were not for this site? Hard to tell. I will still write, let the people choose. Simply, put all the information out there, with no bias. No grip on information. No trying to control a topic. Sure there is much more traffic on wecrash, at least I assume so, as quiet as this site has been. So be it.

One thing for sure though; As long as this site is here, people know they can write a post, ask a question, and it should live. Not be killed as with the other site. At the very least, it should force the other site to do better. (They do have a ways to go as I understand they allow a known crook to continue to post). (People still copy parts from the "thinkers" and have no shame in doing it). (This not only is allowed, but seems to be encouraged). And that, is the reason I will stay here. David Bryan

all i want out of people in life is honesty no matter what the situation
(kinda like my job...they missed a weeks worth of payroll, 'oh we'll get it to you in 2 weeks.....fuk them just write the check now)

a person can ask a question or raise a point here without going 'i dont mean to offend' or 'in my opinion______' followed by 'i like what you're doing and it's great'
i can just picture the poor little dog that we've all known that when you go to pick him up.....he cringes in fear that you are going to hit him....and for that dogs entire life he/she lives in fear....wanting to please the owner but afraid of retribution....

what's really scary about the 'boards'....is most of those in control and to some extent the abundant posters......are an extreme vocal minority of the derby world.....

example....a local county fair wants to go to 'rules' like the other surrounding counties.....well guess what, where i live the surrounding counties (except 1) you show up with a car and it runs and this local county fair is already like that! so one or two loud mouthed jackwads want to come in change something that isnt broke (or maybe just stop the same 3 people from winning it the last 6 years?)

both the we crash et the word out for derbies when this kinda stuff keeps happening... this site is great! but on the same note there are a lot of dedicated wecrash users that absolutely refuse to change or have no clue about this site... the old wecrash had 30,000 members... out of that number I'd say probly 10,000 were duplicate screen names of members... spread the word and get more members on here if can!

It won't take long for the same thing to happen over there. I'm sure many people are still checking we-crash. You will notice that posts and even entire threads are "disappearing". Tory is also still playing the internet god role. If you think that a single thing has changed in the last year, you are just fooling yourself. If you disagree with Tory at all, you are a dirtbag-idiot and will get deleted.
If you have ANY dealings with DI or Tory, cover your backside.
Charlie Perrine is starting to promote again and the we-crash have started the hate with just the Schutte propaganda.

AS MOST OF YOU HAVE SEEN BY NOW, I HAVE BEEN BANNED .AGAIN... TORY ASKED ME TO NOT POST ON ANY OF "HIS THREADS", WHICH I DIDNT. HE MUST HAVE SENSED THAT THE BACKLASH OVER WADE AND SAMS COPIED DANA 60 THREAD WAS GROWING AND DIDNT WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER BABYSITTING ISSUE ON HIS HANDS WITH THEM BEING DISPLEASED THAT THEIR THREAD WAS FULL OF QUESTIONS AND TRUTHS ABOUT HOW THEY GOT INTO THE DERBY PARTS BUSINESS AND WHAT THEY HAVE COPIED AND BUILT DUPLICATES OF TO SELL.. THE WATER WILL ONLY GET HOTTER, THE MEMBERS EYES ARE WIDE OPEN AND THEY SEE THE TRAVESTY THAT IS HAPPENING. DERBY ICONS HAVE DESTROYED METAL MAYHEM DOWN TO A 62 CAR SHOW, FROM WHAT WAS OVER 150 OLD IRON CARS THAT SHOWED. ITS NOT THE "ECONOMY", ITS NOT THE "EXPENSES", ITS THE FACT THAT PEOPLE NO LONGER TRUST TORY AND DAVE AFTER WHAT THEY SAW DON SANTEL GET AWAY WITH IN ORDER TO CASH THOSE TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR CHECKS... ITS BULLSHIT, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.. BETWEEN MADE UP NAMES ON THE DRIVERS LIST LAST YEAR (WHICH, ODDLY ENOUGH ALL THE " I NEVER HEARD OF THAT GUY,WHO IS HE?" NOT SHOWING UP AND THE HUGE DROP IN CARS ENTERED, THE SHOW IS DOOMED....SAD TO SAY BUT 2 BIG EGOS RUINED IT FOR WHATEVER PERSONAL REASONS.....IM SURE I WILL GET THE BLAME, AS THEY THINK I SABOTAGED THE SHOW, BUT DOESNT IT MAKE THINGS BETTER TO POINT OUT THE FLAWS, AND CORRECT THEM RATHER THAN TO LET THINGS SLIDE INTO THE HOLE AND KILL THE SHOW AS HAS BEEN DONE. Wecrash sure isn't what it use to be.Thing that I personally think is strange is how a few people get banned for bad deals,or copying derby products but some get away with it.

EXAMPLE'; theres one person who copied Scott Gropps distributor protector,but he is still a vendor on wecrash,and sells his product at Metal Mayhem last few years.After he was called out on it,they changed it a little bit and added a few pieces to keep people thinking they designed it.the same vendor also sells outhers derby products,and tryed saying he was making them himself.Another lie from this person,since his is identicle to the originator.to smooth things over he now tells a few people who he buys them from.all i can figure out is he is donating money to the icon instigators or wecrash sight.

then theres the sell out of wecrash to sam and wade deal;that just didn't seam like a for the drivers benefit to me,but what do i know.then after people question it,it don't goe over worth a poop so tory buys wecrash back.and now these same to people are selling copied parts on wecrash.come on now.

then all the deleting of post,because somebody ask a question about why this and that is ok...whats fair for one should be fair for all.

I enjoy both sights,but this ego trip a few people are on is bad for all derby drivers.We are all on these sights because we enjoy the sport,not to make a profit off derby related things.It's suppose to be fun,not a second job.all the drama BS gets old after awhile.

One question...if Tory and Dave don't put on Metal Mayhem who does? If they don't do it it's dead anyway. Is that what all of you want? No more Razorback Rumble, no more Spring Explosion, no more Metal Mayhem, no more Fall Brawl? Most of the big shows in the Midwest would be wiped out.

Jon...you talked about running Mayhem back when Charlie promoted it as if that was a good thing. He literally STOLE money from 100's of drivers because he was living off of the money from all of the pre-entries that he was getting. It was basically a darn Ponzi Scheme and it all came crashing down when he realized there was no way that he could pay the purse. The guy is a piece of trash, period.

All I'm saying is that you can sit and female dog about DI as much as you want but my point is what is the alternative? If somebody thinks that they can do it better then step up and do it. Anybody can sit back doing nothing and female dog about how it's being done now.

Jay not trying to start an argument or anything but when it comes to Spring Explosion Tory and Dave have done nothing but show up to inspect and flag any year they have been part of it. They have never done anything to help set up or tear down the facilities. Never once called to order trophies, garbage pick up, security, porta potties, etc. This was always done by me and the youth sports group I am a part of. This show was well on its way to being highly popular without them. Even with this years new location they managed to do nothing to help and if anything took the show down a notch. We had done a drivers dinner afterwards free of charge. He told me he would do it this year and absorb the cost. However, just one of the many things they dropped the ball on. We hired them the third year to be part of it and they went behind our back being sneaky and bought the naming rights to it. Pretty low class in my opinion to go behind the back of a non profit organization for kids and take thousands away from them even though they are the ones doing all the work. My point in all of this is don't give them credit for something they don't derserve credit for. That credit goes to the youth sports group, drivers, vendors and many fans who have made the show what it has become.

Darren...first of all let me say that I have nothing but respect for you and the show that you work so hard to put on to bring money to those kids.

From what I gather it is your show and you don't have to bring DI into it if you don't want too. If everything that you say is true then I'd be upset too.

The point of my original post was that everyone was complaining about how things were being done and nobody was doing anything but sitting on their @ss complaining about it. When Charlie backed out of Mayhem anybody could have jumped in and taken it over. Tory and what eventually became DI did. I think it took balls to do that and I respect them for doing that. The derby world wouldn't be the same without Metal Mayhem.

For every guy/gal who is female doging about DI and how they conduct themselves there are 10 more who love their shows. Everyone has their reasons to go either way and they are entitled to their opinions. I just don't see how DI ruined Mayhem...I think what you are seeing as far as car counts go is a result of a bunch of things combined.

As a driver all I want out of a promoter is a decent payout and a level playing field. You can't argue with DI's payouts and from what I've seen it's pretty much been a level playing field. As good or better than any other promoter's shows I've ever run.

I think the real issue is that the last post in the Ford section on this site was August 13th. I don't really care who did what to who, I am just looking for a place to find and share information. Obviously, that is not happening here, which defeats the point of having the site.

JAY, I CAN TELL YOU I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN METAL MAYHEM SINCE THE VERY FIRST SHOW AT PEC..... IT WAS GREAT, TONS OF PEOPLE,CARS GETTING JUNKED, IT WAS fFUNWHAT A DERBY IS SUPPOSED TO BE.. NOW, ASK YOURSELF, WHEN SCOTT,TORY AND DAVE BOUGHT INTO IT, WHY DID SCOTT BAIL OUT? HE SAW WHERE IT WAS HEADING..... WHICH BRINGS US TO TODAY.. THE HARDCORE MAYHEM DRIVERS HAVE SEEN WHAT GETS THRU INSPECTION AND WHAT DOES NOT. THERE IS FAVORITISM FOR SURE. EVEN TORY ADMITS " WE GAVE SANTEL AN "EXTRA" SANDBAGGING WARNING"........ SERIOUSLY? THIS IS WHY THE SHOW HAS DECLINED, NOT THE ECONOMY, NOT CAR PRICES, BECAUSE OF THEIR LIES... THEY HAVE TRIED TO COVER IT ALL UP, BUT THE STINK KEEPS COMING THROUGH... Jon...I agree with you as far as the sandbagging goes and with the fact that Don got away with more than he should have on the track. With that being said, I hold the drivers on the track more responsible than the guys holding the flags. I'm not saying that is wrong or right, but if everyone on the track is going to let the guy drive around without getting hit then it's a pretty easy win for him. I don't think that he had anything extra done to that car, I was less than three feet away when they drilled his frame after it was over. heck, I even walked around under his car before they taped it off. I'm not saying I'm an expert official by any means but I can tell you there wasn't anything that even looked suspect. If he'd of been hitting or if people would have been hitting him and the car was still straight then I'd really wonder if they missed something. Considering he didn't hit or get hit very much I think it is totally understandable why the car looked as good as it did when he was done.

I can't think of any other derby where car counts have gone up so I can't see why the counts at Mayhem would go up either. The cost to compete is driving people out. The average guy knows he can't go to Mayhem and compete anymore and how many hard core drivers are left?

IT SEEMS OBVIOUS TO ALL I TALKE TO THAT ATTENDED, THAT THINGS WERENT "RIGHT".... I dont disagree with jay or john but i think your both missing the big show car count absence. Who wants to chance 3k in parts, plus a shell. Thats wasted in a run, when i can build one, win 3the shows a summer with it, have fun and make money. And yess all im counting in the 3k is the 4 whls, tires, a tranny, and other suspecet reusables tgat normally cost useed up at a show like that.
