TORY HAS ALWAYS SAID THAT WECRASH AND ICONS ARE TWO DIFFERENT AND SEPERATE ENTITIES.. GUESS NOT WHEN IT INVOLVES TORY BEING WORRIED THAT DRIVERS WOULD NOW HAVE A CHOICE WHERE TO RUN AT.... LOVE TO HEAR THAT EXPLANATION......... RIGHT TORY AND DAVE? LETS HEAR IT.......

He has posted the claim that he had to do it to protect driver's who never got paid in another thread that challenges why it was deleted. Check it out quickly in the general section as I am sure it will be deleted especially since Charlie is challenging Tory saying he asked him prior to posting it if it was okay and was given the approval from Tory. Now that the date is solidified and does contend with a DI event all of the sudden it needs to be deleted to protect the drivers who didn't get paid. Seems to me we are just back to the same old Tory that doesn't care about the drivers but does care about protecting his DI bottom line. I sure wish the sheeple could see that their shepherd does not have their best interests in mind but only cares about himself.

unfortunately most 'derbiers' are nothing more than scrappers that happen to derby....

these are the same the people that believe obama is gonna take their guns and god out of their life....they will believe whatever they are told in order to 'fit in' 'be cool'....etc....dont rock the boat

Many drivers called me and let me know they were paid back and offered to pay their entry well after the show. I told them to take that money and sponsor a Future Icon with it. Many did. Thats what makes them Icons. But there are many more that have never been paid.

Also Scott and Dave were not aware I told the Icons to sponsor a FI. So in my opinion Charlie you do not owe Derby Icons anything.

No I will not delete this thread, it will stay to answer questions on this topic. I'm not squabbling with anyone, this site was started to protect drivers from dishonest promoters and keep drivers informed, you still choose to run his shows fine, but you were warned.

You can also spill any beans or open any can of worms you want, I have nothing to hide, Derby Icons and Tory Schutte are an open book. Easy to be that way when you're honest.

Hello. yousoldout. I, for one, DO believe Obama wants to take my guns. I do understand your point though. Every election is talking points.

I think it interesting Charlie will hold a derby the same weekend as Tory. I think the better show (possibly bigger) will be the one in Iowa in May. Tory will have his drivers. Charlie, I think, still has a following. The show for T-bone will cross ALL political lines. You read it here first (To explain, most derbies you want to be the last car driving), In my opinion, the T-bone show will be a show more like; It will be way more cool to be the first one out, to see WHO can junk their car first. That will be the show to watch. That will be the show that will need at least four stationary cameras, and at least two hand held cameras. Not to mention all the GO-PROS just to catch all the action. I hope some one will step up to the plate on that.

when and where is said derby in iowa

Hello cashman. The derby for Tony "T-bone" Athcison (Mopar Express), is in Oskaloosa, Iowa. This will be held May 10th and 11th.

For those who know and for those who do not; Husker Havoc (Nebraska) is my show. We usually do Husker Havoc in May.

For 2013, Husker Havoc will not take place.

There will be no competition between Husker Havoc and this memorial derby for Tony. I have told Steve (Terlouw) this, and have told him what ever I have, is his, for this show in Oskaloosa. I plan to attend. I know of at least eight drivers from Nebraska that plan to drive. I have not seen this much anticipation for one derby in a long time. David Bryan

I am skipping Fall Brawl to attend this show. I can only go to so many "far away" derbies a year and this one is going to be one not to miss
