Now that this is out there - I'm looking for some info and am willing to pay for it if it can be verified for me.
I would like the name of the person who built the Dana 60 that was copied from Dave that is in the photo on their website.

I also build my own stuff and agree that demo derby is more than just what happens in the ring. If you are not enjoying every aspect of the hobby: hunting for cars, talking about cars & derby, building your cars, the elation and adrenaline culminating with the wild ride on derby day, and finally walking out to the front yard on Sunday morning with the coffee cup in hand to examine the damage in daylight (one of my favorite little moments), then it might be time to re-examine why you do this. I can see it from both sides I guess.... anytime somebody is successful at selling a product it means there is demand for it, it means that a buyer sees the value in trading dough for a developed product over developing it themselves. You buy not just a part, you buy some of your own time back and/or a level of expertise that perhaps you recognize you would not be capable of achieving on your own. As long as there is an advantage to using all of these specialty parts in demo derby, there will be a demand for them. ANYTIME money is involved you will see a variety of human behavior on display, both good and bad. I can bemoan the negative effect that money has had on demo derby but it is here, like it or not. A lot of people talk about the "evolution of this sport" but my own personal opinion is that it is not meant to evolve; it was, is, and should always be a grassroots hobby for those who don't care for the high finances and drama inherent in the more organized forms of motorsports (drag racing, circle track, etc.). It's supposed to be the low buck alternative that is rooted in fun first and financial gain last. Ugly little episodes like this one are what I look to when I need a reminder of why I hold that opinion. Keep crashin' y'all.... I say we leave our wallets in our pockets and get back to being a bunch of silly rednecks playing in the mud. |

Most of us saw it coming. The internet was going to be the best thing for our sport/hobby and we all ate it up. Now lets add some opportunity to make money, greed, personalities, hate, getting even, more money, more greed and look where we are. This is not an attack on the well intended individuals who truly want to advance the sport, help people build a better car, share tips, swap parts, sell stuff at an affordable price to help out another guy, etc. The best thing you can do is hit em in the wallet. Nothing else will work....they dont care what we think. Its not illegal to be stupid and greedy, its just how some people are. Sad.

It's funny how liberal these 2 turd's are.all they care about is fast shipping and huge invetory in stock lol who cares...like we arent smart enuf to understand all the facts.most people dont care about the reverse copy of peoples parts,its that you were going to misslead all of us into believing we where buying parts from another vendor but threw your store,then once you had the market locked down you were gonna take a poop on all the vendors,and we couldnt even get the word out cause we cant post on the SITE THAT WE BUILT,NOT TORY,OR UD.IT WAS AND STILL IS OUR'S.although you didnt relize that until we all said F u and stoped visiting thier site that was built for and by us drivers lmao

ya kinda worded that wrong.I just meant once time clicked by and their store took over,they were just going to reverse copy all parts and do away with buying from any vendors.why wouldnt they,we couldnt even speek about it on there site.its like wall- mart,stuff was cheap and good at first,then once all the small ma and pa stores were gone.poof everything is expensive and crappy.cause it doesnt matter once they are the only place left to buy from.we are all just a member # to them

Sammy and Wade are out to scam anyone they come in contact with . Sammy ripped off a county fair in nebraska under derbys 4 u . That was to the tune of 4500 bucks . When the chickens came home to roost , they became ultimate derbys . Perhaps David Bryant can refresh us on the countys name in nebraska ? They think they can fraud people , and change their names . When these two idiots Sammy , and Wade die , they will have to screw them into the ground .
