not many derbys in arkansas has that kind of pay out !!!!

I DO AGREE WITH CHRIS. THE PAYOUT, JUDGING , AND INSPECTION ARE ALL TOP NOTCH LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS RACE, SEE YOU ALL THERE! AS FAR AS CHEATING GOES IT WOULD BE TRAGIC TO PUT ALL THAT WORK IN A CAR AND PLACE IN THE FEATURE JUST TO BE DISQUALIFIED!! IT JUST AIN'T WORTH IT!!

There is nothing changed on the bumper rule other than your weld can not be more than a inch wide. You can weld on the bumpers all you want. Seams , brackets, tubes.
I think you all that ran last year know I will load cars if they are not right.If you get caught before ,during or after the event you will be disqualified.If you win the feature and myself or other techs feel that car is illegal not only it will get the manutory inspection along with the other money cars before money is awarded you may be subject to a fame drill , a frame cut . or body cut.
If you are legal and about to have $4 grand laid in your hand for a 80`s build that should not be a problem unless you have something to hide.
Good rules and standing behind them is what has turned this event around and bumping 70 car count.

THANKS FOR THE CLARIFICATION! ITS THE WIDTH THAT'S LIMITED. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT! I AGREE IF YOU GUYS FEEL THE NEED TO CHECK WINNING CARS DO IT IN FAIRNESS TO ALL WHO COMPETE!!

I just love how im told i can do one thing then it gets changed and cant do it. ill bring a car but i wnt put a darn spacer ill just use the althread thats already there the core suports hang to low under the bumpers on these fords and the factory bushing dont bring it up enough maybe if you would build one you might see that NOBODY KNOWS THE TRICKS ON THE NEW FORDS IN WHITE COUNTY THAT I DO I PROMISE MY CAR WILL BE HARD AS heck AND WILL PASS INSPECTION ALL DAY LONG... bring a bore scope you wont find anything that the rules lets me do.. as far as mod derby how do you get that out of spacers if you know wat your LOOKING at you can tell if something has been done...PERIOD... and obvisily yall dont know wat yall are looking at cuz my car last year wasnt right but if it passes tech then its good or just dont know wat to look for i know if two other cars that was plated on the inside but got through... and i know there will be this year

I have listened to your bull$hit long enough . Why don`t you take your car somewhere else and run. I want you to go somewhere else . I do not want you to come to this show.How about you don`t bring a car or your dam spacer. I can almost guarantee you we can find a reason for your car not to run.Keep talking keep running that mouth. If you don`t like what goes on put your own show on. You can rent the fairgrounds just like anyone else can.For the record we all know that it does not bring the core support up high enough If we allow a spacer then people like you will take it to a extreme ! Billy Bob`s 2 inch spacer may equal your 6 inch spacer. If you are not allowed a spacer then the problems can not start . We have heard all the excuses ..... That six inch pipe is all I had and had no way to cut it . My tape measure must have been made wrong .I thought the rules said six inch spacer. If no spacers are allowed we will not have this problem. Plus it will not open the door for other areas on the car. Understand ? If I have too I can load up some of my 80`s fords out of my salvage yard and bring them to the event and sit them right beside that drive on rack for the techs to have one to look at that has not been tampered with for inspection purpose for people like you! This is what i get out of a mod derby................................ If you want to do more than what these rules allow , go run somewhere else.!!!!! Its real simple "if you don`t like it go somewhere else"! I am not and will not listen to this all the way to Sept. There will be techs there this year from out of town that has forgotten more than you will ever know. I do not see your car a threat to this show or other drivers as a whole. And yes I got your tex ............& No I do not want to buy your motor. Here is my advise to you. Get you some rules build that car how ever you want .Don`t call me about any can I`s or build questions . Build it how ever you see fit to the rules. We went through this same thing with you last year and am not going to do it this year. Make sure you have these three key things come race day , a trailer , a cutting torch , and a set of rules with you in the inspection lane . What this all amounts to is you are not getting your way and in return you want to raise h**ll and make attempts to trash or damage this show. darn kyle I know U can read & build a car by the rules, U built one by the rules when we had a derby on the track in my backyard, I don't see what all the fuss is about ( body spacers) REALLY....it pays $4000.00 to win.......U said b4 your car was legal now your saying it was cheated at last years derby.....REALLY........

Its just to prove a point chris that some people dont and shouldnt be around derbing if they dont know wats going on... yes the searcy derby has came a long ways from wat it use to be. everybody can build legal but like i said how did two cars get in last year that was plated on the inside at the crush box... As far a spaceing the core suport you have obvisly never worked on one to know wat im talking about and if ur thinking it would open the door for people to start tilting you must not know how to tell the differance. if you need a CRASH course ill b your huckleberry...

I was not the only one that made the decision on the spacers . Joey Gee and I both did . I think he knows a heck of lot more than you do. Nobody said anything about tilting a car.

He , myself , Brandon Cook , and all the others that inspected must not know anything neither.
To the best of my knowlage Chris and Allen have ran a heck of lot more 80 events with 80`s cars than you have .
Now Chris does not know , the inspectors do not know , nobody in White County knows except for you.
Do you realize how big of a idiot you are making out of yourself on this post
Myself or other officials could care less what your opinions and thoughts are. Any of us guys would much rather be applying or efforts to the ones that carry a descent attitude and want to better the event.
Everyone that is following this post can clearly see between the lines concerning you.

When you went to Hot Springs with that Lincoln both bumpers fell off and your steering broke due to s*hitty welding. 2nd of all you have built two 80`s cars both looked like hammered a*s*s your car can be loaded up for reason to believe it also can be loaded for behavior seeing how you like to run that flapper behavior might get you escorted out before you ever make it to inspection jason or none of the rest of us is going to put up with your s*hit you are a troublemaker and we all know it if you are so good of a builder why dont you build something besides a rolling s*hit box there were no cars there last year with plate just some more of your attempts to cause trouble i do not think anyone will miss you and one less car count especially you will do nothing but make for a better event we inspectors treat people the way we get treated just remember that get someone with some common sense read your posts back to you maybe then your narrow brain can understand how stupid you sound i am going to nit pick your car to death what are you going to do about it ? nothing you do not seem to understand you do not make the rules you are a driver not a official if you do not like how it goes here take that junk of yours elsewhere it takes more than a keyboard and a some header stacks to make a builder and driver and you are not either yet best thing people can do is not listen to your ignorant a*s*s if you knew half of what you think you do you would be dangerous |

Guys no disrespect but he done exatly what it appears he's been trying to do since the tread started. And that's get y'all heated up. Ur always gonna have people tryn to twist the rules and make a big deal over seamingly nothing. But as promoters and inspectors u have to maintain ur cool with these situations. As hard as it seams. I give our local promoter and good friend so much he'll and at first I wud get in his head but over time he realized I was just given him a hard time now he just laughs at me. And I think that's why I respect him so much these days. The derby has something right going for it or y'all wudnt have the car count y'all have. 4000 to win prob will make it a huge show. I think 7-8 of us are coming.
