Between Lucky and Action who have a majority of wisconsin derbies. I probably shouldn't of used the biggest promotoers i should of said the 2 promoters with a the majority of Wi derbies. We all already know Rick you are in a league of your own.

My Rules are 95 percent Action Auto rules. That way Wisconsin's biggest 2 promoters can have there cars come to my show and people in my show can take a car to there show. The cars will be competitive no matter which way it goes. Actions rules may be mild, but lucky's a weld fest , a lucky car should never make it through an action inspection, and an action car would be WAY underbuilt for a lucky show ..... SO ..... I fail to see the comparison. "Which way it goes" ?? , better put it in stone now if you want stock cars or tanks ...... competitive build means different things to different people ..... On another note, good luck ...... you will have your work cut out for you !

If ur going to let 77-79 lincoln's and continentals run why not let 77-78 shocker mopars run? Just have a set number of leafs i think both these cars can be very hard with a little knowledge so why let one run and not the other.... let the mopar guys play to.

Also with the way the rules read,a guy can run a 77' chevy monte carlo also.

Well i can do it either way, I can allow the mopars or i can make it 77 and newer aslong as it has a 80's body style. Which would only be gms that it has any affect on.
When we all voted for steve to make it a 77 and newer everyone said no mopars thats how i was going to leave it.

To be honest with you if you read lucky's rules for this year action lets you do more to your car, but they are very close rules.

I allowed mopars 79-80 with stock leaf package. Rules changing after they have been posted is not a good thing. My car was done. I also did this derby for free for the drivers to get paid, but now the purse is $3000 less. Somebody is leaving that day with a fat wallet. Wonder who that is? I also made a good set of rules for this year where the drivers could be the ones to leave with money like it should be.

The things i did was stuff mentioned to me by other drivers. I didn't really change the layout of the rules. Just added some stuff that moreless told them what not to do. The one other rule that might be or might not be added is cold bending, I am listening to the drivers arguements about it. I have not made up my mind yet.
My thoughts on cold bending would be allow 80 to 97 and not 98 up since they are already straight from factory. 98 up are already hard cars compared to the 80 to 97. That will bring more arguements hence the reason i said no cold bending.
