$3000.00 in the wallet before the show even starts. Already making money WOW!!!!!!!!! My car is tilted, welded and stuffed. I'm only going for one reson to take someone out. As far as flagging Thats way up in the air. Depends if I can complete my mission of making sure someone doesn't get any money there.

Yes the tank can be mounted to the seat bar. I would prefer all the midsize driver to do this. Bolted to the back seat pipe securely.

I'm not complaining you don't want me to start trust me. Now you know a part of how I felt listening to you whine last year. Alot of things I don't agree with and alot I do agree with. The worst part that pisses me off is that no one cares that $3000 dollars was taken away from the drivers. What is the entry fee for this derby and what does it include? What classes are they all having? What is the payout and prizes consist of? How many heats or is it a one shot deal? Midsize having heats or one shot deal. None of this info is posted. I have a 80's car done and want to know as much info on this derby as I can. Thanks for the info.

Everyone can expect heats unless not enough show up. Prize money is up on first page entry fee is 45 and 20 for pit. Trophies and other prizes are to be announced. I am working with my trophy guy on some trophies that are like none you have ever got. THe rest will be announced at a later date working on sponsors and stuff atm.
Steve If you would of listened to me you probably would still have that 3000 dollars. I told you running them rules was a bad idea. Yes i complained last year but WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE EVER GOING TO LEARN I DO IT FOR THE DRIVERS NEVER FOR MYSELF. Yeah i know i stuck up for us low budget drivers and i am the bad guy. OH WELL atleast i stood for something.

bob u know what suck is that midsize bring more car to the derby and put on a show and we get f over alese steve have the money where it should be for that derby and we all know who going to win the full size

Chris you sit here and complain but all midsize lost was 100 dollars. Last year steve paid out 1000. Why don't you look at it like this. Steve had 3k more then I did and i still am pretty dam close to his payouts. I just coudn't go down 10 places like he did i went down 5 in every class. OH and i got rid of those boring ASSS lawnmowers.
Lawn mowers are like watching litcher drive,a long drawn out process, that hit about as hard as he does.
It is quite possible that lawnmower and litscher driving are among watching Paint Dry.

Alot of questions that are not getting answered. Hard to plan for a derby when everything is at a later date. Bob the fair board wanted to drop the purse even the derby every year, but I fought for it and also fought for the money to go to the rightful people. The ones that are responsible for the show and bringing the people in the stands. That's not the fair board or any promoter. That comes from the ones that put all the money into the event. That's the drivers. I wasn't going to stand aside and let the drivers get robbed of the $3000 that the fair board now gets to put into their pocket. All that ended for nothing when you allowed them to pay themselves. They get all the money entry fee, pit passes, concessions, grand stands and now $3000 on top of it. That's my point I'm trying to get thru to you. You can sugar coat the payout all you want, but its still short. I tried to fight for the drivers. I don't care who runs the show I'm just glad they are having one. I just wish the fair board would have had to pay the money that was there the last three years. It wasn't dropped because of the car counts. The minimum count was always met so you can't use that.

Steve you act like this is rocket science. There will be trophies but like you had to i am trying to get sponsor money for most aggresive pay out. Just relax we have 4 months. All the stuff i was going to add to the rules is done. The rules are as they stand. You are right about one thing the drivers do bring the crowds never said they didn't, but there was a time when people use to just come not knowing anyone driving. When cars don't bend noone hits harder then what you can with a claw hammer who wants to sit and watch that crap not I.

Sorry i only had 3 people say yes to cold bending and I already said no to fuel tank protectors. You want a fuel tank protector make it so i can just put my fingure between the tank and 2x2 tubing that is all i will allow and it must be level with the seat bar. Not going to be used as a kicker to stop the car from bellying out. Or if you want to keep you tank safe mount it to the back seat pipe.

Ok just got back from the fair board meeting Entry is 45 car and driver 1 pit person 20 per each additional pit pass. Inspection starts at 10 am derby starts at 3 pm. No one under 16 allowed in pits.
Rules are in the fair boards hand and will be posted on the fair board web site, and contract was signed. Everything is finalized and there will be no more changes.
My trophie guy is going to try to make a trophy using a arial picture of the derby track with the tires and everything from a few years ago. If he can make this happen all the first place trophies will be a trophy of the actual derby track in a dome shaped cup type tropy. Mad dog trophies all will be a 3 tier trophy with 2 cars on top. One with the side pushed in and the other nosed up in the side of the other car. These are what my trophie guy is trying to make us. He showed me the picture last night on the computer of what they will look like if he can make them turn out.
